Is there another geek around here like me who’s going to spend the money to see Transformers first before going to Harry Potter and Pirates? (I’ve totally skipped out on Spidey, sorry, wasn’t all that into the first movie)
What movies are you waiting to see?
May 6, 2007 at 6:43 pm #490829May 6, 2007 at 6:45 pm #571723PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN 3! I can’t wait until it comes out – except that we always watch on Mondays because it’s cheaper then, and new movies come out on Thursdays. But still.
May 6, 2007 at 7:32 pm #571724Ooh yeh can’t wait to see Pirates! im looking forward to spidy as well 😀
May 6, 2007 at 7:37 pm #571725The transformers movie is going to be horrible. My husband trolls the message board for that movie and shows me all the pictures of the autobots, etc. I have to hear him belly ache about it all the time.

I’m not banking on a generation 1 copy cat like I’ll bet he is. I’m seriously looking forward to it, and I think he should go see it before he completely writes it off. It looks like it’s going to be fantastic. I’ve seen all the pictures and the trailers.
I’m looking forward to harry and Pirates too, but not like I am Transformers.
May 6, 2007 at 7:51 pm #571727Transformers! So there are others like me 😛 I just finished reading the Prequel Novel to the book (by Alan Dean Foster so a pretty good read) I don’t think I’ll make it to the theatre, I rarely do for anything cause I mostly work nights, but my brother has been going on about it for a year! He was a huge transformers geek as a kid, now he’s a 27 year old kid. I sooo remember the cartoon and then the movie. I’m sure nothing can live up to theose memories, but it will also be interesting to see what they’ve done.
I’m also waiting for Pirates 3. I actually screamed at the TV at the end of the 2nd one, drawing strange looks from the people I was watching it with!
May 6, 2007 at 7:55 pm #571728I cannot find that prequel novel in any bookstore around here. It looks like I might have to hit amazon.com, though I hate the idea of paying $10 for it. I do want to read it, though.
May 6, 2007 at 7:58 pm #571729I’m used to paying $10+ at the book store now for a paperback 😕 The full Title is “Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday”
May 6, 2007 at 8:09 pm #571730I found it on ebay just now for slightly cheaper. book+shipping at amazon would’ve been ten bucks. Just picked mine up for a little over $7
May 6, 2007 at 8:24 pm #571731I’ll be seeing Spiderman, Transformers, Pirates 3 and of course Harry Potter. I’m looking forward to Pirates and Harry the most. 😀
May 6, 2007 at 8:28 pm #571732The only “must see” on my list is Harry Potter. 😀
May 6, 2007 at 9:57 pm #571733I’m looking forward to Harry Potter, Pirates, and Shrek. In no particular order.
