A few years ago (2003), I purchased a little polymer clay “Dragon Fly” from a vender alias StarBuck at the Pleasure Faire in Casa de Fruita. He also had fairies and elvish creatures, but I haven’t seen him or any of his work since then. I was wondering if anyone knew about him or knew where to get some more of his creations. I really enjoy them!! If anyone knows more about him or even if they have a piece too, please share! π
Here’s my little guy and his poor broken toe π³ (I call him Evinrude).

Are they MG?
If so, then I know who made him.

It looks like “03” & a “fancy W”. If you know who does something similar, I’d be interested in seeing them too.
April 30, 2007 at 1:14 pm #568731Never seen anything like that at the Georgia Renaissaince Faire and I’ve been going every year for about 5 years now (I think). I won’t be able to go this year though…can afford it and it won’t be the same because my husband wouldn’t be able to go with me and he ALWAYS goes with me.
April 30, 2007 at 4:23 pm #568732I’ve not seen anyting like that either….but that doesn’t neccessarily mean much….Vendors at Faire have to pay a booth fee, and depending on the faire a percentage of what they make. If a vendor doesn’t make enough selling their wares, they often times will just not come back, as it is not worth it. Or they could have been sitting in on a friend’s booth selling things, and just haven’t gotten back or had a falling out with the friend. There are SO many different reasons why you’ll see something you really like, and then never see them again! I know that doesn’t help much, but maybe added a little insight.
You could try asking around at the same faire you saw the guy/gal at and see if anyone knows who they are. Sometimes people have connections like that. (the local vendors are more likely to know the regulars)

Oh yeah! There was a glass vendor (from Ohio I think) at the GA Renn Faire one year and I bought two goblets from him – one with a unicorn and the other with a dragon on it. The paints were supposed to be “baked” into the glass but for some reason the unicorn’s paint is peeling off. (I followed the directions of hand washing only.) I was hoping I would see hin again to ask since I lost the business card with the Web site address and he’s never been back.
April 30, 2007 at 5:48 pm #568734I have never seen them. Sorry.
That little guy reminded me of Keplillys Creations. He is cute!
April 30, 2007 at 7:55 pm #568735It is cute, but I have not seen those kinds of creatures before either. Sorry. π

So what is hubby’s new job, who is it with?
And sorry I don’t know who did your little fairy guy…I was so hoping the initials would be MG, because I know where to find her.
