I’ve been avoiding this question because I haven’t decided if we should paint the regular old warriors like the prototypes.. I think the answer has to be yes, because that was one of the main reasons I painted them in test colors in the first place! I wanted to try out different color combos to see if they were well liked. I was clear in the auctions for the prototypes that the colors may be used as a regular production color one day.
So I just decided. Yes.
However there will never be any more Em.Pea. Secret Keepers, because they were a limited edition.April 28, 2007 at 6:39 pm #568437I want an EmPea OW! Soon!
April 28, 2007 at 6:41 pm #568438Hey, purpledoggy, did you hear that? You can stop squeeking now 😆
April 28, 2007 at 7:01 pm #568439I’ll stop squeaking when I have an ema pea old warrior in my grubby little paws!
April 28, 2007 at 7:07 pm #568440i am very curious to see the color pattern that is chosen for him….. all the production em.peas have violet noses, but the auction OW has a green nose. i assume he will match the production pieces, but he is pretty cute with his green snout! (tries to imagine him with the violet- squint!)
April 28, 2007 at 7:09 pm #568441I would like more green and less violet but of course I’ll buy whatever it ends up being…

The prototypes were all a little different from each other, and they will be different from the production ones. They had allot of hand painting on them that the regular ones wont have..
April 28, 2007 at 7:50 pm #568443Forgive a new collector for asking, i had no idea there were any sample limited editions of em pea old warriors done.
But im so glad you are going to make them. Finially i’ll be able to get one in this country. If not i’ll order it direct from here. Eather way i will know how well he will be well packed.

April 28, 2007 at 10:31 pm #568445I’d really like the OW in the gold that is up now — I read that it is a lot lighter than photographed, but I think the old, battlescarred warrior should be more deeper darker gold, almost bronzy rather than newly minted bright gold. Fits his character more to be antiqued darker.
But then again, I hate the red eyes too… I’d love a deep, dark bronzy gold with rich blue eyes. 🙂
April 29, 2007 at 6:04 am #568446I like the red eyes. I’m sick of blue eyes. 😆
April 29, 2007 at 4:45 pm #568447Ide like to be able to see the front of him in that auction.
