Melody said about the SK:
Quote:Someday she will be done in Rainbow, not as an ooak but regular production, I hope, since that is a production color.
So does this mean that the SK will be done in the regular production colours and put on the direct sales or preorder? 😀
I’ve been trying to get a white SK but the bids on ebay are starting to get too high for me. I’m really hoping these will eventually end up on the direct sales. Trying to comfort myself. 😥

We decided that we would auction the first ten of a regular color on ebay, signed, so that is why we are auctioning these. We do plan to sell them as regular producton someday (unsigned and hopefuly hollow). No idea when that will be though.Sigh.April 25, 2007 at 10:12 am #566308I would be willing to pay the extra shipping for a rainbow one, even if it isn’t hollow. In for a penny, in for 32 pounds. lol
April 25, 2007 at 11:24 am #566309I agree, I’d be happy to pay shipping on the big girl! It’d be worth it to have one! So is the Sk going to come out in white and rainbow both? Hmmm….now I have to decide which I like better. 😀
April 25, 2007 at 3:27 pm #566310Yay! 😀 😀 😀 I’m so happy to hear the white SK, will come out on direct sales! Assuming they are still around the $1000 mark, I can afford shipping on a solid core too. I agree, in for a $1000, in for 32 pounds!
We love you, Melody!
April 25, 2007 at 3:27 pm #566311I’ll third extra shipping if it comes to that. Even if the hollow core never works out (heaven forbid) then at least they could go on the direct sales page. It might be too expensive to ship to many retailers, but… I’m betting a few of the forum folks would be willing to search their wallets, purses, cupholders, couch cushions, etc. for the extra cost. Know I would 😀

April 25, 2007 at 4:52 pm #566313I don’t mind paying the shipping on the 32 lbs….although it’s a bit less for me being just down the street…I think I pay more in gas to drive up to the factory and pick the big girls up 😯 I wouldn’t have it any other way! =) But when Miss Melody and Co move up to Oregon, I won’t mind paying the shipping =P

Hopefully, maybe,perhaps…not for certain!
April 25, 2007 at 8:59 pm #566315Melody, is there a reason why the heavier, solid SK’s can’t be offered as Buy Direct sometime soon? It looks like everyone would be willing to pay the shipping. 😕
April 25, 2007 at 9:22 pm #566316I would, but My mom would have to drive out here to get hers, I’m not paying to send it out again 😈 Wonder how much it would cost to get 3 shippped 🙂 and there in by I very muchly would like more than 1 production colour, since that’s how the male and I tell our’s apart.
April 26, 2007 at 9:44 am #566317If the solid SK come out in EVERY produciont color I will have to start saving my pennies!! She would be a welcome addition to my dragon families
OK !!!!!!
Now I have a question. I was just reading that the EmPea SK was a limited edition to 7, 1 and 7 where sold and the middle 5 where awarded to stores for a display contest.
Does this mean that now that EmPea is a regular production color that there can NEVER be another batch or 2 of the EmPea SK’s???
I’m asking because the EmPea as a limited edition was before it became a regular production color??
I’d LOVE to add a SK in every color eventually to my collection that would be AWESOME!!

Big MAMA watching after all her babiesOnce they hollow out the core, I am sure they will be regular production. The heavy, signed ones will not. Thats how it has all gone in the past, anyway.
