I got two windstones in today that came in boxes that aren’t marked, but are fantastic. Are they Windstone boxes? One mama, one male, both had the bags. They were in cardboard boxes, and inside was a cardboard instert molded in thier shape. Just curious, since all the other boxes have a white sickter with the dragon’s name on it,and these boxes are regualr brown cardboard with no markings. Well, there’s a stamp ont eh bottom, but it’s not windstone.

They usually do… someone might have peeled them off, or somehow someone forgot to label them or something? I dunno, but the custom cardboard-inserts sounds just like a windstone box. 🙂

Maybe(this is SO far off) they are the original inserts, but not the original boxes? There’s no where it could have been peeled off. there’s no tears in the cardboard.Makes me wonder. There’s a similar type box that had the peacock young dragon in it, no insert, he was just bubblewrapped, that’s not his box is it?

I have a silly question, why does it matter?

If they are the originals, i want to keep them with the dragon. If not, I’ll just use them next time I ship out one of the dragons. that’s all.
I haven’t looked at my boxes with stickers in a while, but from what I can remember the stickers appeared to be the type you could peel off easy without tearing the cardboard underneath.

Maybe not. The sticker tried to come apart on me, but it didn’t try to rip the carbord. If I worked at it I could probably work the sticker and it’s gunk off and have the box intact.
The official boxes had the cardboard inserts fit perfectly within them. Even if you are not sure if this box is official because if doesn’t have a sticker, if the inserts fit properly (and you don’t have another cardboard box on hand that fits them the same), then I wouldn’t suggest getting rid of it.

The original owner just wrote, as I had asked her as well, and she said it is a Windstone box, but from another color. I’ll be keeping them though, SOMEDAY I hope we move to a nice house in the country 😀
Then, when we’re all settled in the house we’ll die in, I’ll use them 😀
