Most of my windstone money was eaten up this month but I was able to hoard a bit of it. My heart’s desire is a rainbow fledgie. If anyone has one for sale or knows where I can find one I would love the help. I have 80 put aside for him. Help!!!!!
FYI – the last one on E-Bay sold for something like $160 or more. I really hope you can find one for less.
Ouch, how much was the normal price for the fledge? 😯
Since we are talking about rainbows, whats the going prices for them all?

I think $120 was a fluke. There are a couple of places I have seen them advertised online. I think my “local” store (45 mins away) may have had one…I didn’t get it though because their prices on everything were high… $142 for a Rainbow male, months before he retired….but I can call on Friday if you like, purplecat. I did definatly see one for under $80; I think $74. I’ll have to dig it up and I’ll let you know when I find it 🙂
Thanks everyone! I think I’ve got one (once I had a place email me they were out after I ordered). I really appreciated the help and will send pics when she gets here. Does anyone else know if the fledgies are he or she? Different colors affect whether each of my fledgies are a he or she. Thanks again for all the help, I’m really tickled I was able to snag one of this color before they become a pain in the butt to get (I almost waited too long) 🙂
I’m considering trying to scrounge together a little more $$ and get two so I can ebay one. I feed my windstone addiction this way. 😛 May have to take out a loan from my hubby. It was pretty much a self sustaining addiction til I had to pull from it for medical stuff. Right now I’m just tickled I was able to order one for my collection. My goal is to get a fledgie of each color, I really like the little guys. It’s a shame there were only a couple of the greens made. Maybe they’ll make a few AL fledgies and my world will be perfect 😀 😀 😀
Melody did leave open the possibility of making a few more green fledgies for those who missed them the first time. She just doesn’t have much the original paint left.
😀 😀 That’d be great! I really like the little guys and they’re not as shelf hungry as some of the big beauties. Love them all but the fledgies hold a special place in my collection.

The first one is sold out…they email you a couple days after you place an order to tell you. Sunshine spirit actually wants 90 plus shipping for theirs. I was overjoyed to grab two with all your help. I’ll be ebaying the second one w/starting bid at 80 which was what I paid w/shipping. Thanks again. I’ll post pics of the cuties when they arrive 🙂
