Here’s the first Winged wolf I’ve ever done. This is for my sister in law, Amber. Hence the title.
The pictures of course do her no justice, she is soooo much more detailed in person. I just love her…sending her away is gonna be tough.
Anyway, comments welcome.

Yep, I also used copper on the top part, but these images don’t show that angle.
And thank you bluepony…I started out not knowing what I wanted to do, so I just started with the basecoat as a start, next thing I knew, I had this.

April 8, 2007 at 3:36 am #559713Hey guys…
I am so jazzed…this little wolf got me my first Windstone commission….is that cool or what?
And from an awesome artist I really admire too.
Should have asked her for art, but honestly right now…I can’t afford to front the money for the sculpture, so I asked her to send some funds.
Though since I like her so much, I am not charging her to paint the wolf. I am just honored she asked me to do it.

I know how it is Kyrin, I actually had Watergazer ask me to paint her a Tribal Pinto! I was floored that she asked ME to do one for her….I have a couple of hers, but I was like totally HONORED to have had been able to paint one for her. The pinto is posted under this thread titled: “Native American Tribal Pinto for WaterGazer” If you havent all seen it yet, I actually was REALLY nervous about doing it, but I think it turned out amazing. π
I also want to say GOOD LUCK on your first commision, and have a Happy Easter! π π
