Well, looks like there’s no getting around it. In about an hour we’ll be leaving for Germany for the whole of Easter weekend. This is just a heads-up so Ski doesn’t get worried when I don’t post tonight. ๐
I don’t want to go. Yesterday my PYOs came and I would much rather spend the weekend working on the griffin for star. He’s painted partially on one side…
I know I’ll fall hopelessly behind of forum conversation, and I’ll miss my doggie and have no internet for two whole days and two half days… But Mom and Dad had to sign us all up for this church retreat and now there’s no getting out of it. Usually I like church retreats, but this year I just don’t feel like going. After a while all of them get to be the same thing. Besides, my brother’s stayed home the last few times to take care of the critters; I don’t see why I couldn’t have done it this time. He can take two days off his work.
Blah. Anyway, see y’all on Sunday evening. ๐April 5, 2007 at 8:39 am #490384April 5, 2007 at 9:18 am #558945Greater Basilisk wrote:Well, looks like there’s no getting around it. April 5, 2007 at 11:16 am #558950I know how you feel: we’re going to the in-laws for Easter weekend too, and they don’t have the Internet. I tend to find weekends there very, very long ๐

do you guys in europe go crazy with the candy?April 6, 2007 at 1:55 am #558956Take me instead! Your parents will be so busy at the retreat, they won’t notice they now have a brunette for a daughter ๐ and you can stay home and paint PYO’s! It works out all around. I’d love to go to Germany, especially for a casual ‘weekend trip’ wow. Well maybe you’ll meet some interesting people and can say, “Yea I collect these dragons, called Windstones…” and before you know it, you’ll have them buying up dragons too!
