Sorry guys, I really thought I would be free of medical bills…guess I was wrong: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwatergazerwolfQQhtZ-1
But this is the last time I’m doing this kind of thing over ebay. I’m not buying Windstones anymore because I can’t keep them in my hands. They are always the first to go when I’m in a pinch since they’re the only collectible I own that’s really been…appreciating in value over time. Oh well. But good they are such awesome quality sculpts desired by many and which will be great retirement funds later. I’m throwing in a bunch of other sculpts to paint and other artsy stuff if interested.
I know how it is to have to pay bills, but Windstone has already expressed their opinions on repaints; I’m not sure its such a good idea to promote the repainting of production pieces.
But they’ve also said that legally they’re allowed. And Watergazer has done everything she could to avoid confusion, with lableing them on the bottoms as repaints and everything.
I did not mention repainting in the thread for that reason. I really don’t want to step on Windstone’s toes but I had the sculpts on hand and restored them best I could, and yeah was planning to repaint them anyways and was hoping to do the contest thing but can’t now. But it’s not something I’d do say…as per a norm. These are the only ones of the sculpts I plan to ever do for the public unless I do them for myself and I do try to make it very clear they are repaints. And yeah, sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. I know it’s sheepish of me but I try to be legal about it too. But no hard feelings towards Windstone and I hope it doesn’t upset anyone.
