π‘ …not that I’m working, or that I didn’t try sleeping! I went to bed at eleven, got up at twelve thirty, went back to bed at one thirty, got up at two thirty, watched a little TV, went back to bed at three thirty, just got up again π‘
I CAN’T SLEEP A WINK!!! THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ME! IT NEVER TAKES ME MORE THAN 10 MINUTES TO FALL ASLEEP!
Am I ever going to pay for this on Monday π
March 18, 2007 at 8:52 am #490164March 18, 2007 at 10:10 am #553065Heh. I am awake now because I am hyper. I saw the movie 300 today, and it was awesome, if rather bloody, and has me all bouncy. I’ve been reading wikipedia articles about Sparta and the actual Battle of Thermopylae all evening.
March 18, 2007 at 10:14 am #553066I am wide awake! Oh… its morning over here. I hope you get some sleep soon.

You might want to take some Melatonin next time you have that problem. Its a naturally occurring hormone so its completely harmless, but I’ve found it to be really helpful when I have trouble falling asleep or if I’m trying to get over jet lag.March 18, 2007 at 2:31 pm #553068Thanks for the tip Mimi, I will check it out! I eventually ended up falling asleep at around 5:30 am and waking up at 8:30 am. I’m fine now, but I know tomorrow is going to be brutal!
March 18, 2007 at 2:52 pm #553069Sorry LIH. I know what it feels like. I’ve had that happen before too. It isn’t much fun I hope you can sleep better tonight π

You’re welcome! I hope you’re able to take another nap later on. I know how you feel because I’ve had problems sleeping before too, and I hate not having enough sleep.

March 18, 2007 at 10:31 pm #553072A friend of ours is making a new CD of tonal chanting/tuning forks music that orients on the chakras, and I got to listen to it last night….I passed straight the f** out! I mean gone, night night, see you in a week, knocked out! That was some GOOD stuff! I can see when she’s producing and see about gettin a copy for you? =P
March 18, 2007 at 10:55 pm #553073I take it then, this is not something I should listen to at work? π π π

Hmm, Thanks but I’m more of a complete silence type of person. I need quiet to fall asleep and am very lucky to have very quiet neighbours. On the rare occasion that it’s a little bit noisy, I wear ear plugs.
Strangely enough, once I am asleep you can have a whole orchestra parade by my bed and not wake me up π
Case in point: When I was younger and sleeping at my dad’s place, the neighbour’s furnace blew up, the house went up in flames, there were police cars, ambulances, firetrucks and everything and I never heard a thing. I just woke up in the morning to a strange smell and the neighbours house gone π
Although the shrill sound of a fire alarm will in fact wake me up!

I liked that movie too, but can you say ‘male bravado’? I haven’t seen a movie like that in a long time that glorified war and a fairly quick but violent death. The visuals and effects were good if a little dream-like. Sorry for the review, but I just saw it on Friday and I could understand why you were still up and reading stuff about it. I did that with White Noise. Then freaked myself out by doing google searches in the dark. Don’t ever look up anything about ghosts in the dark! π

ROFLMAO You sound like me! I once slept through a Doobie Bros. Concert when I was 4 and then Offspring at the Anehiem Convention Center for Blizzcon in ’05!
