Just wondering if anyone had a theory as to why these aren’t going for as much as they have in the past? I mean the Emp should be at at least 250 by now, and there aren’t even any bids on the white male….Just curious.

March 15, 2007 at 6:29 pm #551837no i suspect people getting smarter about snipping
watch it in the last hour i bet price doubles or triples i almost never bid early on anything i truly hope to winMarch 15, 2007 at 6:29 pm #551838I don’t know about the emperor but I noticed there are multiples of several pieces up for auction. I counted three white mothers and two white males. I have bids on a male, female and young in white hoping to get a good buy. How much does the white fledgie go for usually in white? I gave up bidding at 85.
March 15, 2007 at 6:30 pm #551839That could be it too. Makes for fascinating ends of auctions, like on the OOAK Flame OW. π
March 15, 2007 at 6:36 pm #551840yeah i almost always miss those because i’m at work :S really exciting if you’re bidding tho
March 15, 2007 at 6:55 pm #551841is sniping the general way to go in order to get a piece you reall want? i have only managed to win two windstones on ebay after losing countless ones. π
March 15, 2007 at 7:03 pm #551842Yes, I am hanging about a few of those white dragon auctions myself ready to snipe. I’m watching the Emperor and the hatching empress.

March 15, 2007 at 8:32 pm #551844Cuz im broke π I think its a bad month for selling. I would have to verify w/the sellers page to be sure, but I dont remember March being a good time to sell.
March 15, 2007 at 8:51 pm #551845I’m watching the white mama auctions, and now, the white male ones.
I got outbid last night at the very last second. I bid $145 for a green/jade coiled, and didn’t get to click in time, and the auction ended for $138 or something stupidly low. πΏ I was the high bidder til there wre 10 seconds left.
Seems to me like snipping is the way when you’re bidding, but when you’re selling, they never go up π π
March 15, 2007 at 9:00 pm #551846I’m not bidding on any of the whites because I just don’t really like the white color on the dragons. I’m keeping my curly dragon, and selling my Young Dragon. I guess I like ones with more color! Like Rainbow!!! Or *cough cough* Autumn Leaf. A whole line of Jades would be perfect!
