I mentioned in the posting for Star’s sunset dragon that I was doing a new blue dragon….

unfortunately he really doesn’t have a blue butt…that Star was worried about….. 😆

there’s two different color interference paints on the darkest part…violet and blue….the light made parts of it look white…but in person there’s a blue violet shimmer….

and after it dries for a few days it will look a lot better….

Makes me think of a summer sky with white clouds. Absolutely beautiful!!! 😀

lol…it makes me think of the opposite. Winter. I do like it tho.

Love it! Once again, your blending is flawless and I love the color fade!

          thank you….

it could be winter too…I suddenly thought about those breath mints that spark if you chew them…LOL

          forget what they’re called….white with a sparkly blue middle…. 😆 😆

Wow, that is awesome. What a cool idea to make colors blend from dark to light like that on a dragon. The blending looks really, really good. 😀

thank you…this is the 3rd one I’ve done that way…I’m sure I’ll be doing more like that….

            it’s fun and different….

They, I mean this one and the other fading one done, make me think of a Chamelion(sp?) changing color.

Very pretty! I esp like the bottom. I think a whole dragon painted like that would look nice, too. That dark blue on top is beautiful!

I honestly don’t know what to think about this one…upon first glance, it seemed kind of bland, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to mess with my brain into really liking it =P LoL

Also, if it had a blue butt and white head….it would look like a smurf….

                    Bland?

                    Smurf?

                    boy you are a dork…

                    LOL
but honestly in pictures you can’t see the interference very well…and that’s what makes it look cool in person….I really wish there was a way to get the interference to show up….

yeah I was thinking about doing a whole dragon with the white….and blue antiquing…I mixed a hint of purple in the blue…so it’s a funky blue that looks cool in person…

(everything looks better in person) 🙄

A white one antiqued in blue would look really cool! I can imagine one done just like the bottom half of this guy…
