So I’ve wanted a mother Ki-Rin forever…
I’ve spent WAY too much money lately… I really have.. particularly on Windstones (Mother Gryphon… Hippgryph candlelamp… cowpie curlie… Young Unicorn… etc…)
Though I am owed for a model horse or two… (payment hasn’t arrived yet…)
I’m also getting ready to move…
So do I REALLY want to spend $150 now?
I hate being perpetually indecisive… ::grumbles::
February 16, 2007 at 5:16 am #540008I saw that too. The part that put me off was that it’d been in a smoke shop.
How much do they usually go for?
I like the male and the baby better.February 16, 2007 at 5:18 am #540009Isn’t $150 a little much for one that’s damaged? If I were you, I’d hold off a little. There are two days left and no bids. See if someone bids on it in the end. If they don’t drive it up to the reserve, you can and win it. If they do, I do think you should be able to snipe her for less than $150.
Unless some lurk sees this and decides to waste $200… 🙄February 16, 2007 at 5:26 am #540010argh… I think I agree…
I’m not so much put off by the smoke shop thing… (I’ve had horses from smoking collectors… they air out…) and I can fix her… not worried about that…
but $150 is a bit much for one damaged… I wish there wasn’t a reserve… I’d bet it’s $100 or something like that… Hmmmmmm…
Must… have… willpower… 😆
Oh… and Phoenix… they generally go to $120 or so… I think the last one was $180 something? maybe…
February 16, 2007 at 5:28 am #540011If the reserve is $100, that’s a decent price for a damaged one, I’d say. I’d pay it if I were after the Kirins.
February 16, 2007 at 5:35 am #540012Maybe just watch it till the end and see if you can get it for less.
Or you can wait 🙄February 16, 2007 at 5:36 am #540013I thought the buy now price was high for a damaged one too.
February 16, 2007 at 5:37 am #540014I think she should wait until the end and get it for whatever the reserve is. If the price stays below the reserve the seller probably won’t let it go.
February 16, 2007 at 6:06 am #540015yeah…I think I agree…
The more I think about it… the more I think I should hold onto my money… JUST to be sure I’m ok bill wise… and hey… I could get her cheeper. 🙂
Thanks for the opinions guys… I really am perpetually indecisive. 😯
February 16, 2007 at 7:45 pm #540016Don’t worry, Lady. I can sympathize. 😆
February 16, 2007 at 9:38 pm #540017the moma ki rin is one i posted i paid 96 and change to get her and didn’t know she was chipped at the time i don’t have any other ki rins anymore the reserve is 100$ which just almost .. covers my cost time to repair her and the expensive ebay listing before paypal fees dosn’t cover the cost of driving to find her tho i wasn’t lookign for her … i was looking for peacock dragons. they also had some baby orientals emerald/jade? and peacock who may also be a bit high retail 67$ i think it was if they are like the ki rin anyway but if i bother to pick any up i will insist i be able to handle them to inspect if i get them i will be posting them as well as a large emerald/jade one i will get in a week or so, as i’m not a big fan of orentals but i can’t get the babies unless i sell the ki rin remember the BIN includes shipping with insurance wich other wise will probably run close to 14$ I have no clue on how much the ki rins are going for i’m probably not even going to make any money off her wich i was kind of hoping to do because i really want a ruby spectral now plus a few emeralds i can’t afford but after a variety of problems car issues and now lost wages from being sick .. only way i’ll make it is to sell some stuff feel free to bash me on my poor choice 😛 i just saw her and though my gosh a mother Ki rin i havn’t seen one in … i don’t know how long,… someone could give her a great home
cheersFebruary 17, 2007 at 5:35 am #540018Well someone thought she was worth $150. I hope you didn’t want her too badly, Lady.
