Hi, I was wondering if the Scratchings, OW’s, Laps, and Spectrals were going to be made in Emerald Peacock. I need these pieces and I have picked out the colors I want for them but if they are going to come out in emerald peacock I might wait. All the colors I want are retired anyways. 8)
I think we asked something along these lines before and Mel had no idea. We were still complaining the lap, scratcher, & specs that never came out in rainbow…or the specs in black and gold either *drool*

I plan to do all the dragons in Em. Pea. eventually. The only exception would be the Orientals. We may discontionue those.Oh, and I can’t do the Secret Keeper in that color because we did those as a limited edition.

Oh me too on the more orientals. I just got my first Emerald Sun dragon on V-Day and I can’t get over how HUGE he is…I imagined him smaller. He’s so magnificent. Even my mother who says, “I don’t see how you don’t have nightmares with all these…DRAGONS….” likes the orientals…and my dad said, “Wow…I think that’s the prettiest one you’ve got”
I also concur with you Melody. The line in EmPea would be lovely. Especially the lap and rising spectral ^_^
Any plans for more production colors on the hatching royalty? Ruby and Em Pea maybe? The ruby color looks beautiful against the cream of the egg (I have the ruby hatching baby)Melody’s already explained why they might discontinue the orientals:

A koi pattern would make a WICKED AWESOME new production color….I remember you saying that it looks better done by hand than with an airbrush, but most of us think your koirin looked just beautiful…Also, are you planning on making any more birman flap cats??? I saved up and just when I was ready to buy one they were gone…and I know I’m not the only one who missed out! I suspect we won’t be bringing any of the Orientals back as production pieces. They are just too hard to cast (try to picture removing a seamless, one-piece mold from them) I hoped to someday make them all in limited production colors, including the elusive Moon dragon, but that isn’t something we will be doing in the near future, since the molds will probably need to be redesigned first.If we still have some castings of the Sun dragon and the young dragons sitting around unpainted,(I don’t know if we do, ’cause I’m still in Oregon) I would like do a special “end of run” edition in some weird color…I have tried koi markings on them…and I still got this problem with it.. YICK.( Oh, I take that back! I just looked at Whippets…Why does HERS look good, and mine suck???? )

This really helps me out on the existing dragons I need to buy. Hope to see them out soon. Thanks Melody
