Man… I am never going to get an old jade oriental dragon! This last one went for more than I could possibly justify bidding. Yeep.

Oh what did it end at?
It ended at $262. With shipping in, it was $278.
I could pay $180 for one, that’s what I paid for my emerald. I could go $200 easy, as I like jade better anyhow. I had actually managed to scrape up $230, but that was the uppermost limit of what I could scrape up for anything less than a secret keeper right now.
It’s annoying because in the past I’ve seen jade dragons go for WAY less than that, but of course then I didn’t even have $100 to spend on one.
I suppose we all know that feeling.

WOW! That is crazy high!!!
I was actually going to bid on that one too. I was stopping at $150 though. I turned it off with seven minutes left to go, because it had gone to $152 and I didn’t want to get sucked in and bid higher. I just now only checked to see what it ended at. Holy moly! I’m sad about that too. I really love the Jade color. Darn it.
Wow!! I feel extrememly lucky – I got mine like 7 or so months ago…no maybe not even that long ago…and I snagged him mint for $150. I think that even included shipping….

-J R R TolkienYeah… right now EVERYTHING is really expensive. Little flapcats going for $60! Mother dragons going over $100, even for common colors! I need to finish repairing my male so I can sell him now, while it lasts. (He’s almost done, I just need to put gloss coat over the fixed spots and find batteries for the camera so I can take photos.)
Too bad they don’t have a jade one. $149 actually seems pretty cheap to me. I paid more than that for my emerald oriental.
Yah ouch, I got slammed a couple times yesterday…..I wasn’t going to pay more than 250 for the Jade, oh well, back to lurking evilbay and biding my time….=P
Wow, I didn’t even realized until I read this post. I wanted the jade one as well, but at last..another bites the dust. hehe Is it still in the family tho?
umm 789 for an old green emp, ring any bells, stupid crazy high bidders, maybe they are lurkers and have been reading all the buzz about jades on here?

Thats personally what I think. I honestly see a trend when we talk about things. I dont know if its lurks all the time, but the pattern is def there.
