Hi everyone! I’m looking for some moderate to severly damaged Windstones! I’m talking severed heads! Having the missing pieces is a plus, but even if there are gaps I hae to resculpt I’ll still take them, either way.

I’m mostly looking for big ones. Like Large Flapcats, Dragons, & Griffins. (no Unicorns or Pegasus though) Anything you want to dump because you think it’s beyond repair I’ll give a reasonable price on depending on the severity of the damage so if anybody has any piles of Windstone pieces from crummy shippers, I want ’em.

PM me or leave a message. A badly broken Emperor or Spectral would be great!

With you, Water and whippet a lot of people are looking for broken pieces. I bet the factory has plenty – I wonder if there’s any way you can get your hands on those?

They try to keep a high standard of quality control, so they don’t let damaged goods out if they can help it. The bosses have final say, of course.

Yeah… But mightn’t Melody make an exception for a forum member? 😀 I’m sure sculpts with air pockets will never leave the factory, but what about pieces that are fine, except they get broken in transit, or have paint mistakes, or something?

Eh? It doesn’t matter to me. I wasn’t thinking of factory stuff, but I wouldn’t complain. I know some people just get broken pieces and find out they had no insurance or something and then they are stuck loosing their money AND have no Windstone. Though I wouldn’t obviously pay top dollar if a piece was smashed, I can pay something so they can recoupe SOME money instead of just saving the pieces or throwing them away.

If she makes exception for a forum member, she has to make exception for everyone. I too am looking for broken pieces (just because I can’t afford ’em otherwise).

And it would contradict their policy of discouraging repaints of production sculpts if they furnished production pieces to be painted/repainted…

Sorry, they came out crappy. There is a chip on the head. 2 chips on the side where the head is resting on the egg. They will all need to be resculped.

The bottom where the felt is in pretty good condition. The felt is kind of fuzzy from being moved. Thanks.

Hi, I;m new to the windstone forum, kinda shy, but i have a broken peacock emperor. I bought him off ebay and the seller basically threw it in a box and shipped it. She didn’t even put bubble wrap around it! Anyways, everytime I look at it I shake my head and want to cry. But, I haven’t got the heart to throw it out. Maybe you could use it to do whatever you do with them. The tail is broken off where it curls around and I think one of the bottom feet is chipped. Other than that, I think he is fine from the belly up. I’ll have to double check. Let me know if you are interested in it.
