*snerk* Hahahaha! YOU GOT IT! I LOVE YOU! 8D The literal translation is probably kinda bad, though… I don’t know if two phrases can be smarmed together like that without being clunky.
I used to have a t-shirt that said “Bite Me” in Tengwar, but I lost it. D:

Literal:
Give your trust in me, you smell like an orc!ROFLMAO Love it, I’m going to have to memorize that.
My friend used to teach me some stuff in yiddish
Ze frait meaz aya be beta aya. (loads of spelling errors, but phenticaly it sounds right)
Means: It makes me happy in both my balls. She taught me another one that I can’t remember the yiddish for, but translated it is: You’re helping as much as blowing a corpse.

Yeah, but in Sindarin. Homelya na ve orco is Quenya, High Elvish. *sticks out High Elven toungue* It’s kind of like latin, in that during the Third Age they don’t speak it much (except in places like Lothlorien–Galadriel and her kin speak it, like when they great the hobbits with “Elen sila lumenn’ omentielvo”… but Legolas and Arwen speak Sindarin). Then there’s Noldorin too, but nobody knows much about that one. Quenya has more known words than Sindarin, though, as it’s what Tolkien evolved Sindarin from. It’s based on Finnish. Sindarin is based on Welsh.
Whooa. I can go on even more about this, too! Hope I’m not scaring anybody. 😈
February 6, 2007 at 10:17 pm #535943Can’t scare me. I’ve read LOTR too many times. 😆 😆
