I love him so much, but he’ll be up on eBay later. I need a new tire for my car.. (stupid screws!)

He’s not complete; I think I’ll add a few faint spot to his hindquarters and a little more shiney to the dark spots on his front legs… maybe some on his wings too. I had so much fun. 😀

Wow! Very cool! I can’t really see what the beak/face look like, but wow! He looks like the resplendents brother!

That’s some pretty precise and elaborate detailing for airbrush work. Very nice job, it’s so smooth and realistic-looking!

That’s pretty awesome. I think once I get better at airbrushing, I may try and airbrush a PYO. Maybe… I mean if I totally screw it up, I can always paint over it by hand, after all.

The majority of all that shiney around his face is just the black paint.

I have an Iwata Eclipse BCS; they’re not really meant for fine detail, but I managed to elude problems.

I’m glad you had fun. I remember seeing your paint plan way back when and feeling excitement to see the finished product. What a wait but the finished piece is pretty! I really like his head and I’m rather fond of the yellow eye choice.
So, are you addicted to painting them yet?
