What are your goals for the future?

That’s a loaded question!

EEep! That’s a scary question! Sounds like something my boyfriend keeps asking me! (since I still don’t have a job) LOL! I wish I could make a living by painting to tell you the truth, but it just doesn’t pay enough. I’d LOVE to be working in special effects in movies and maybe even CGI! I always thought I could paint the skin of mechanical sci fi monsters and do make-up, stuff like that! That would be so COOL! I’d have to go back to school though, I’m sure, and I doubt that will ever happen. Not that I don’t want to, I just don’t have the time or the money. Truthfully, in 10 or 15 years I’ll be lucky to be making what my boyfriend makes right now! LOL! (I have to laugh or I’ll cry) I have this horrible feeling I’m going to have to get a new retail job and start at the bottom rung of the ladder AGAIN! I’ve had over 5 years of management experience in over 10 of retail. I HATE RETAIL! HATE IT HATE IT! I could waitress again, but it feeld so embarassing to say “oh yea, my boyfriend is a sucessful computer engineer making like 22 bucks an hour and I’m a waitress….or I work at Best Buy….” but it’s all I’m qualified to do. *sigh* It’s depressing to think about. I always manage somehow so I’m not too worried. I’ve NEVER borrowed any money from anyone ever and never accept it when people offer. I’m just not like that so I suppose I’ll be okay one way or the other.

Marrige? HAH! You know I already got a fakey proposal about a year ago, on Christmas, and when I opened the ring box it was a game boy advance game inside. WTF! I wanted to kick him in the face! I got the whole “I love you and I want to stay with you forever” schpeel and he got on one knee and handed me a little velvet ring box. I was like 😯 “what’s this?!?!” He’s like “Just open it, and you’ll understand” so I open it and theres a DAMN GAME?!?!?!? He busted out laughing and slapping his knee like “Did you really think I was going to ask you to marry me? HAHAHAHAHA” Yea, I was pretty pissed off! Ever since then marrige has been a touchy subject between us. He’s lucky were still together after pulling that as far as I’m concerned……..jerk…Maybe SOMEDAY, but NOT ANYTIME SOON! LOL!

Car is simple, I’ll NEVER own a foreign car again no matter how much I want it. Paying for a rebuilt tranny for my Mitsubishi costed more then what I paid for the car! Never again! I REALLY want a Chevy Avalanche or a (dare I say it) an Escalade Pick up in that sparkely rust/orange paint! *drool* I LOVE THEM! I don’t know why I have an infatuation with trucks. Right now I have a lowly Ford Ranger covered with Invader Zim car decals. They have Gir pointing at all my Ford symbols and laughing at them. I always swore I’d never buy a Ford. I’m a Chevy girl, but I have to say it’s never really given me too much of a problem in the 3 years I’ve had it. A couple of stupid little things, but nothing major. Though I have a bad feeling something is wrong with my 4 wheel drive *shakes fist at sky* Only when I have no money these things happen.

Kids is EASY! NEVER! With the way I was raised…I dunno. Honestly, I am too selfish to have children and I can admit it. I’m not, nor do I thinkI would ever be ready to give up my Windstones, video games, and time for kids. If I ever DID have a child it would have to have the absoulute best of EVERYTHING! I would be strict, but spoil them too. Like the parent who won’t let them date till their 21, but already have college paid for them and buy them their first car. Things like that. I know I couldn’t afford to be the best mom on the planet so I don’t want to have any kids until I can. I’m actually a big fan of adoption myself. I mean, it costs less to adopt now then to even have a kid. Hospitals are ridiculous ESP if you, like me, have no insurance.
I’m also a bif fan of baby sitting =) If I feel that kid urge, I’ll just borrow someone elses for a while. I have too many breakables to have one full time, haha!
I’ll stay with my 4 legged kids I think =)

I’m not laughing. Fact is, unless it’s a running joke or something within the couple, you DON’T DO STUFF LIKE THAT!

Drag0n… Have you talked to your local jr college (just because it’s usually cheaper, and the people more helpful) about student loans/pell grants/scholarship money? You might be surprised at what classes they offer, too… I know the jr college I’m attending is getting big into cg stuff…
