I haven’t shared any projects in a while, so I thought I’d share this guy. A slightly cartoony gray bunny head.

The third photo’s great, he looks exasperated. 😆
January 30, 2007 at 2:58 am #534005Do the eyes move in the head?!
January 30, 2007 at 3:10 am #534006Nope! They are fixed. But there is an optical illusion that makes them look like they’re always looking at you. It’s pretty cool.
January 30, 2007 at 3:17 am #534007Sure enough – what a convincing illusion! It’s a haunted bunny. lol Very well done:)
January 30, 2007 at 5:38 am #534008Is that a project for yourself or was it a commission?
January 30, 2007 at 5:59 am #534009It’s a commission. 90% at least of my work is. Which is fine by me, it pays the bills!
January 30, 2007 at 6:00 am #534010That’s what I figured. 🙂 Otherwise I’d have been curious what function you were making it for.
January 30, 2007 at 6:04 am #534011*chuckles* I did manage to finish a costume for this last convention I was at, but it was pretty simple. My next con is in July, and I have somewhat ambitious plans for it. (Well, ambitious in that I’d like to do a full suit, head, body, paws, the whole works. I’m usualy so busy with commissions that I can’t find the three weeks or so of time it takes to make one myself. But I’m hoping I’ll be able to in June.)
January 30, 2007 at 6:06 am #534012Who knows, maybe you’ll carry away 1st prize like drag0n did?
January 30, 2007 at 6:19 am #534013I hadn’t planning on entering the contest. Furcon masquerades are generally judged mostly on performance, and construction only gets noticed if it’s something really unusual or special. I don’t really perform them, I just make them. So I have very slim odds of winning anything, especially given that the competition is people like One Fur All, Mixed Candy and possibly even Lance Ikegawa (he is my idol!) I don’t think I can compete on construction skill alone.
January 30, 2007 at 8:12 am #534014Dang those costumes are impressive! I like the winged lion a lot.
January 30, 2007 at 8:33 am #534015Yes. I got to see it in person at FC, it is truly impressive! And went to a few panels taught by Lance, as I want to get that good someday!
January 30, 2007 at 3:44 pm #534016I’m impressed by the muscles. How does he get those show?
