      After GREAT reluctance I am going to sell my precious Midnight Aurora PYO. I REALLY love him, but bills need to be paid and money needs to be saved for a Momma Griffin! It’s only a 5 day auction and so since a few people here expressed interest in him here he is… *tear*

            Aww, thanks Wolflodge. He’s one of mine too. It took me like a week to finally decide to sell him or not. I just really want to keep my orange dragon since he was the first one I painted. I sold off my first griffin and Ki-Rin I painted, so I want to keep at least one of my “number ones” since I number the boxes in the order I’ve painted them. This one is number 2.

              I love this dragon also. I was kind of thinking that it seems simular to the peacock tho. Did you get it approved to sell it? Sorry, I just don’t want anyone getting in trouble.

                  It’s nothing like peacock. Most of the dragon is black. If it is similar to anything it would be kind of a cross with the Black Em Pea and the Violet Em Pea, though I put some blue in the black part of the body as well. I didn’t get “approved” to sell it since I didn’t think there was a need to since it’s not like any other Windstones and was approved for viewing in the gallery when I first painted it. I did ask about it in another thread in the PYO section about a week ago and nobody told me otherwise.

                    That’s a very pretty dragon. Good luck with the sale! I’m sorry you had to sell such a pretty one, but you can always paint another from your photos once you get your money issues caught up, right?

                        Well, I’m thinking eventually when I have Bubbas’s vet bills caught up I will paint one for myself that’s similar. The only parts I really love on this dragon is the belly scales and the wings. I think if I did another I’d take away the blue interference on the body and add gold to the centers od the body scales instead. I have a paint on gloss too, so I think I’ll matte the body scales and put a shine on the belly so there are two different finishes, kind of like the black and gold dragons do.

                        LOL! Knowing me I’ll never do it though unless I get comissioned or something. In the beginging I painted alot for myself, but that’s been dropping down ALOT! I have like 7 griffins plus, 3 more I got painted for me (one from Water and 2 from Arlla), 3 Ki-Rins, plus a 4th I got from Arlla as well, and now I’m down to 1 dragon for myself. I’m definately going to keep at least 1 of the next 5 I paint though.

                            I should think it would be okay? What do you think Nam? I didn’t copy any paint jobs on any kind of production color. If you saw it in person, it doesn’t really look like any Windstones.

                              I think it would really be stretching limits to consider him infringement on the BEP color. He’s unique, and already at $127. He’ll sell well!

                                  Its already way up there! Good job! I honestly think it looks nothing like the production. I think you are fine and perhaps we should all stop panicking till there is somthing to panic about. 🙂
