I’m all hypered up and I’m swinging around a stripped 4 foot length of RG11 cable, and I hit my laptop and scratched the left mouse button with the copper end.
So much for my good mood.

January 26, 2007 at 11:07 pm #532949AnonymousIt’s irrelevant .. the point is that it’s there. It’s like saying “Oh, I’m sorry I scratched your Windstone, but you can’t see it unless you look really really close…” πΏ

Fine.
January 26, 2007 at 11:12 pm #532951That’s too bad, Snap. I can never keep anything perfect either. Either I bump it or the cats do, or my husband runs it over with a lawnmower (like a rose bush I had once).
I guess Native Americans build flaws into things so that evil spirits won’t stay in them. Evil spirits only house in perfect things, I guess. (I’m not sure about dragon spirits or flaming horse spirits though — π ). That’s one way for people to justify their mistakes and their damaged items I guess.

I always heard they put a small flaw in things because only the Creator is perfect.
January 26, 2007 at 11:38 pm #532955See Snappy, now you don’t have to worry about evil spirits taking over your laptop… π

That could be a reason too.

I thought that was a given when it shipped with Windows on it.

January 27, 2007 at 3:45 am #532959Especially if you bought the laptop from the spirit lady on Ebay.
