Once again… totally crappy pics. ::grumbles:: I have GOT to get myself a photo cube and MORE room to photograph! πŸ˜›

Anywho… here is the brown wolf… all done and ready for ebay (or offers! :D)

And… an attempt to get the interference colors to show up on her wings… πŸ˜› you can kinda see it..

I’m actually really fond of her… πŸ˜€ I hope that the next hazel eyes wolf I paint (an xmas present from my mom…) turns out as nice as she did! πŸ˜€ definately liking the interference green with the bronze color πŸ˜€

And… as I said… she’ll be up on ebay tomorrow… OR… if you really like her… PM me with an offer. πŸ˜€

Your best winged wolf yet, and one of the best color combos I’ve seen.

Hah! Now you see why I do that on all my griffins so far! πŸ˜‰ I did a wolf about two weeks ago with these colors and interference green on the wings too. Mine looks a little different though.

I thought about it, but I have $240 of unpainted stuff sitting around! πŸ˜• This and the grey wolf you did are what I strive for. They are both beautiful. How long have you been painting?

Alright you know what… don’t EVEN go there! πŸ˜†

                      Lookit my Nudist colony…

Do you want to know how much $$ I have in Nudist horses right now!? and those are MINE! not the shelf of stuff I’m painting for other people! πŸ˜€

The large bugger just to the right of the pink one… is worth nearly $400 alone…

                      AND I have a Unicorn… a future pegasus… and a couple of others on anotehr shelf! πŸ˜€

So yeah… I’ll NEVER get to them all. at least not for a loooooooooong time.

Add to that the PYOs that are slowly collecting… 😯 MAN I need to get cracking!

Thank you Ski. πŸ˜€ I’m really glad you like them!

I’ve been painting model horses since… 2002? I think… no I’ve been painting them in PASTELS since 2002 or 2003… but painting model horses period since 1999. ^.^ I started out in acrylics.

MAN I wish my old website wasn’t defunct! I have some seriously OLD horses there. ::grumbles::

But I’ve only really started getting the feeling that I’m GETTING pastels and how to work with them in the last year or so. πŸ˜€

Don’t worry Ski! I will do s tutorial on pastels! just need to start a new Wolf! πŸ˜€

LOL! I have spent too much on new paint! I cant switch to pastels, yet, though it sounds like alot of fun! Nudist colony πŸ˜† I call mine “Naked.” πŸ˜€

Sure you could… just keep using the acrylics on them too. πŸ˜€ I use acrylics to “base coat” the critter before I actually use the pastels.

See the lighter… “almond” color on the wolf? that’s acrylics base coat. πŸ˜€ gives me a starting point other than WHITE. ^.^

And pastels are cheep! πŸ˜€ one set of them… maybe… $5-$10… will last a good long while. πŸ˜€ I’ve been doing this for years… and I think I’ve only actually bought two things of pastels? and that’s horses AND now PYOs. πŸ˜€ though you use a lot… it still not that much when they are crushed. ^.^

This wolf looks great and I love the natural tones. The pastels, as well as your application of them, make his fur look real. Beautiful.
