The matching dragonling to the autumn wolf piece I had recently done. I’m pleased with how this turned out, but I do prefer rusty browns and tans myself.
Yes, this one I did specifically for EBay in case I couldn’t part with the Lucky Flame KiRin…which inevitably has happened but I am trying to let go. I do find it harder and harder, and sometimes if I can post it to ebay the day I finish I can let go easier…but if I wait I just get too attached. Good thing I was painting them both at the same time so I could at least sell one. Lol, I do want to paint a matching dragon for the Ki-Rin but not sure yet how to add the black and white look to the dragon. As for stripes…I have always loved dragon wings with striped patterns and will probably do that to most all of my PYO dragons.
The stripes are great. If you keep it up they can be a Watergazer signet. 😉
I agree with GB, I was thinking the same thing myself… That way you gather your own following who will instantly recognize your work, and also, it sets it apart from all the others!
BTW, he’s absolutely gorgeous! I hope he goes as high or even higher than the Opal Dragon you sold a couple of weeks ago!
