January 4, 2007 at 4:44 pm #523410My old rabbit did that to me once! D: There I was, an innocent little child happily munching on cookies from a round tin in my lap… I remember sitting on a chair and being oddly close to the TV.
Then Bizzy, my grumpy white rabbit hops over and sits there in front of me looking up. I see him and smile since he’s being so cute, as if he was begging for cookies.
Well, the next thing I know that crazy rabbit LEAPS up at me, hooks his little paws over the edge of the tin, then falls back down sending the cookies flying into the TV screen before plummeting to the carpet rabbit, cookies, and tin in all.
If I had actually known the “f” word then, I would have been “WTF! O.O” but alas, my vocabulary was more limited at the time, so it just “WT- O.O!”
He was a bit dazed from the experience, but I think he still made off with a cookie.

January 4, 2007 at 5:08 pm #523413I know a bunny who is the cutest little black and white lop eared bunny you ever saw but who is possessed by the devil when it comes to food. Riley evidently loves lasagna and jumped up onto the dining table and jumped into the pan and started eating it – guess no one told him bunnies are vegetarians since he ate the meat as well as the noodles. Another time his owner was eating a piece of chocolate and Riley tried to grab it out of her mouth. He got her lower lip instead – she has a scar there now from the bunny! Riley makes me think of the bunny from Monty Python and the Holy Grail – Run away! Run away!

I can see it now “When cute bunnies attack!” or “Attack of the ravenous Rabbits” (coming soon to a theater near you!). π
Its always the cute ones you have to watch out for.

You know, if you get right down to it, I don’t think ANY ‘vegetarian’ animal has read the dictionary definition of ‘vegetarian’.
I’ve known horses that loved bacon sandwiches, rabbits and parrots that eat chicken… I don’t think ANY animal will turn down meat if they can get it, particularly not super-tasty people-food meat.
That said, my cat doesn’t know that the peas out of my partner’s chicken fried rice aren’t meat.
