I went into Green Earth today and I found a few jems for 50% off. Is anyone interested? They have:

2 Owl Sconces for $73US each.
    1 Wizard’s Retreat $70US
    1 Gargolyle Sconce $48.25US
    1 Paper Tiger $48.25US!!
These prices are with the 50% off already.

The paper tiger and the garg. I’m thinking of buying for myself. I’ll see. If anyone is interested I’ll buy them for you and ship them to you for exactly what I paid for them. Never know I might find something else the next time I pop in. (Of course I’ll have to charge for shipping as well.)

2 Owl Sconces… does that mean that you paid $73 for the both of them or $73 each?

    #520357

These are still in the store. They have 2 owl sconces. Each one is $72.50 CDN, with tax they should be around $84.90. With the current exchange rate that is alittle more than $73US.

I bought the gargoyle, while I was paying I saw the paper tiger and the wizards retreat. The only one I’ve bought so far is the gargoyle. (I think the retreat is overpriced, I wonder if they raised the prices?) If you are interested, they are at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo. I could find the phone# for you if you want to call. I’m heading out to Cambridge Center today (maybe depends on UPS). I’m going to see if the Green Earth there has anything. I think I remember seeing a dragon there. Which I’m not sure now.

Are you sure these are 1/2 prices in U.S? I want the wizard’s retreat. Astral castle said the issued price was $56.00.

Oh, can you find out why it is so much and if it has the original box? I don’t have a way to call to canada. Thanks.

Well, I guess $70 is much better than $140. Thanks Ski.

You can do the conversion yourself. It was $139.99CDN. Half of that is $70CDN plus tax (GST 6%, PST 8%)$81.20. I wish I didn’t have to charge for tax but, I have to pay it so like I said I would charge you exactly what I paid. So that is about $70US.
It was retired in 2004. I’ve never seen one on ebay. I don’t know what they normally go for. Sorry, I can only relay the prices given to me. I can’t change them. As far as I can see it’s in great condition. No they wouldn’t have the box. It’s been there for many years so it’s dusty. But other than that….I’m going to buy the paper tiger tomorrow if you would like me to have another look at it.

Yes, please have another look at it. Make sure it is in mint condition (no nicks, chips or anything else). And then let me know the details. Thank you.

No problem. I’ll hopefully be home before 8:00 Friday. I’ll let you know.

Alright, for those that are interested in the Wizards Retreat here are pictures. There are two pictures that show a broken mushroom. It was glued back on, but, whoever did it didn’t paint the break. Also there is a chip on the bottom. You can’t see it from the side. I was also off on the price it is $66US.

The links don’t work. Under every photobucket picture, third line, there’s an IMG tag if you want to show the actual pictures. Otherwise you need to make the link work like this:[url]www dot whatever dot com[/url]. 🙂
