Has anyone else seen the 70lb rock dragon? 😯 And we thought the SK was big! I thought about writing them about it but decided not to. Nobody’s bidding on it anyway.
December 25, 2006 at 11:02 pm #489095December 25, 2006 at 11:16 pm #519997I’d email them….that’s more that 2 times what it weighs…..and $45 shipping…..whatever…..
December 26, 2006 at 5:16 am #519998Aside from the fact that the dragon is available for up to $50 less anywhere else.
December 26, 2006 at 5:41 am #519999I did write and ask if 70lbs was the packaged weight, because I knew that it only weighed about 35lbs. Haven’t heard back from them. I thought about pointing out the high price and the fact that most of the online stores offer free shipping, but I figured that the fact that no one is bidding on it should speak for itself. After all, they can ask what ever they want, right? 🙂
December 26, 2006 at 5:45 am #520000yeah….just trying to figure how you would add 38lbs worth of box…..
but that’s cool….I think they just saw how much the prototype young rock dragon went for….and are just trying to jump on the band wagon
December 26, 2006 at 5:47 am #520001They obviously don’t know much about what they’re selling. But if somebody decides to pay $200 for it, that’s his problem.
December 26, 2006 at 5:48 am #520002I was just trying to find a polite way to ask them about it. 😉
December 26, 2006 at 5:49 am #520003yup…..always best to be polite….
December 26, 2006 at 9:32 am #520004I emailed them and told them it was 35lbs and only cost $189 at grandio. They wrote back “Thanks.” Nothing changed in the listing, though.
December 26, 2006 at 3:23 pm #520005In that case, probably band wagon, like frozen said. Is it even possible to change the opening bid on something once it’s listed?

Sure. You can change anything as long as there are no bids on it. Once there are bids, you can only add on to what is already there.
December 26, 2006 at 3:40 pm #520007Then I guess that dragon won’t sell. Unless an alphabet-name bids on it…
December 26, 2006 at 5:59 pm #520008Can you say hernia? 😯
December 26, 2006 at 6:04 pm #520009A 70 lb dragon. You would have to get 2 people to lift that sucker. 😆
