I just felt compelled to share! ^_^ And no, I don’t torture my baby buns with christmas gear on a regular basis, just the tolerant ones every once in a while for a photoshoot.

P.S. if anyone in the So. Cal. area wants a baby netherland dwarf, I’ve got a litter ready to go…all white with red eyes. Snow bunnies! 🙂

December 18, 2006 at 12:12 pm #517587Awwww…how cute! I dont know how ya do it! I was rabbit sitting this weekend and these dang bunnies sure can make a mess! They kick shavings and rabbit poo all over the place. I let them out to run around and sniff my dogs and how do they thank me? With POO! Nice animals.
December 18, 2006 at 12:50 pm #517588Rabbits can be litter box trained just like cats. But, I think with rabbits you have to train them while kittens are trained by the mother.
Those rabbits are very cute. I know my sister would like one. But, she’s already in trouble with the landlord for having 4 of them. It states in her lease no pets. He alowed her to have cats and one thing led to another.

Yeah, I think it was Chris who taught us that we can litter train…I dont remember for sure, but it wouldnt work anyway cuz they arent my rabbits. I only have them the occasional weekend. 🙂

I’m the same way, I only put the collar on my dog when I’m taking her for a walk. But every once in a while I start thinking that I should have her wear it when I let her out in the yard… What if she got loose and she didn’t have her collar on!
The thing is I share a yard with 4 other appartments and sometimes the other people don’t close the fence properly. I try to always check if it is closed when I let her out, but sometimes I forget.
One time I remembered I hadn’t checked and when I went to see, the door was open and my dog was standing right outside the yard looking towards the street! I was so happy that she came when called! It was at a time in her life when she obeyed commands only indoors, when we were outside she forgot all her training.
December 18, 2006 at 2:12 pm #517592HA! My white dog, Lady, STILL doesn’t listen to a word I say- she comes when she wants to. Fortunately, one time when I flipped a suburban and totalled my car and she jumped out the window after the dust settled less than 2 blocks from an interstate- she came when I called. Thank GOD!

She must have been so shocked by the accident she forgot she wasn’t supposed to listen to you! 😆
December 18, 2006 at 2:16 pm #517594Ooooh- I think you may be on to something there! To this day she still shakes when I lead her to the car to take a drive.
December 18, 2006 at 2:20 pm #517595Poor baby! I feel so bad when my dog is scared and I can’t do anything to reassure her! She’s terrified of thunderstorms… and I mean, trembling, keening, panting, salivating, trying to fit in my pocket terrified! And as she weighs 70 pounds, the fitting in my pocket thing is a little difficult!
December 18, 2006 at 2:23 pm #517596🙁 Lady isn’t THAT bad, she just pants and paces in the back seat. Past that nothing really scares her- except car rides…although my husband DOES call her “The Great White Chicken” because she barks fiercely but if you approach her she runs away. I’m sorry to hear your pup gets so scared, that always makes me feel awful too!
