Here it is. I think these are hard to paint because making fur look like fur seems very difficult. I think this one is more for folks who have skills. I didn’t do too well, though I dont scream when I look at it. I still need to clean up the wings a little bit and paint the pads, but other than that, he is finished.

I love the browns and pearls you used…but I am not overly fond of the grey. It looks chalky to me. But I love the area around the eyes and particularly the shoulders! That rich sable brown kinda color is wonderful! What color are you going to use for the pads?

I couldnt tell it looked chalky till I took pics. Im fixing it now. Im just gonna do the pads a dark grey or black. I cleaned up the wings a bit, too, cuz it just looked dirty in the pics.

I hope you didn’t take my comment baddly…I always hate to hurt feelings…but I like a little crit myself to help out, so I tend to do it for others.

He looks wonderful! Are you keeping this one or selling?Not at all! I just started painting when the griffins came out, so I am new and open to critisism and tips.

Thanks! I would say he does not look too different than before. He has a clear coat on and I touched up a few spots. Overall I am very happy with how he turned out. His fur actually looks soft and has depth. He is darker than I intended, but its hard to leave things white!
Very, very nice!!! Can you take a pic looking down at him a bit? His eyes are angled upwards too much in this view. I’d like a better look at his face. I really do love him….

Any time! You’re right. It is better. hehehe…In every pic, it looks like he is staring at you! These eyes are creepy!!
