Wow, Purdy. I love both of them. The koirin is especially nice. But, I love koi and fancy goldfish so I’m biased.

Yeah, these are both Christmas gifts for friends. The guy getting the dragon I know will love it, he’s dragon crazy, and has this black opal dragon character.

The fellow getting the koi-rin loves the ki-rins, but I have no idea how he feels about koi! I’m crossing my fingers and hoping he likes it.

Oh wow… SPark… Very nice!! the dragon is yummy!!!

and I LOVE the pink nose on the Koi-Rin!! SO CUTE!!!

The scales set it off nicely… jsut the right touch! Too cool!

I like your Koirin too! As some friendly advice, I think the white parts of him should have been left as-is; the white looks a bit splotchy. He would be pretty with a light tint of shiny pearly paint like the sining scales of goldfish

Yeah, I antiqued him, and I had a time getting it to be even on the white bits. I think the camera exaggerates that, as it doesn’t look nearly so splotchy in person.

I’m still learning!
