The US Postal Service just added a new service to the choices we have for shipping your webstore orders. On our website its called “Ground Advantage” and it is a USPS service. It costs less than USPS Priority Mail but takes longer to arrive (though I’ve heard that sometimes packages can arrive just as quickly as Priority Mail). Naturally the farther from us the longer it may take to travel – I saw that from Oregon to Indiana it said estimated 7 days. I’m not sure what from Oregon to Florida might be, we haven’t processed many Ground Advantage orders yet.
I just sold some stuff on eBay, and it looked like it wasn’t too much slower than Priority- comparable to the old 1st Class/Ground options. Seems like they’ve used the relabeling as an excuse to put the prices in the atmosphere though.

I’m not sure, but I think that the Priority Mail services went up a bunch – though Medium Flat Rate boxes seem to be the same as before.
When you choose your USPS shipping service be sure to compare Ground Advantage with Priority Mail – in some cases (especially small boxes) – Priority Mail is less than a dollar more and a lot faster! I would choose Priority in those cases.
