Hi all,since there are so many animal folks here I thought I would ask y’all for help.
This beautiful little hungry puppy came dashing out of the woods this morning when I was in the yard watering plants.I think she is a chocolate Lab but not sure.Hard to get a good pic but she is about 3mos?7-8lbs,solid Choco brown,big paws for age.Sweet as can be.She gobbled down a half a bowl of food.Shebis so hungry,ribs showing.I am putting a note at the local stores for lost puppy.What breed would you guess?

If you call her a lab on the signs would someone who wants a hunting dog try to claim her? I have heard of this but don’t know if the stories are true. Maybe “lab mix” is a safer description.

She is cute.
A 3 month old lab should be a lot closer to 15-20 pounds, even thin.
She does very slightly resemble a lab puppy in looks but if she is only 7-8 pounds I’d say she’s a heinz 57.

Super cute… yea I’d say shes a lab mix of some kind as well. Doesn’t look full lab to me.

Liberty is NOT happy.
Puppy is set up in back yard.Closed kennel,bed,food and water.I wormed and de-fleaed her.She has a fat belly and we will find her home,small area of families here.We don’t want another one right now.Only shepherds from mow on.

She learns fast.I am temporarily calling her Brandy.Puppy just seems wrong.She has personality.I finally got Liberty playing with her this morning.Took a baseball and after a few tries she started chasing it with Liberty.She actually got it and played keep away a few times.Still looking for her a permanent home.

I hope it’s not someone’s puppy that was turned loose on purpose because they couldn’t feed her. That would be awful and heartbreaking.

I have searched our neighborhood and nothing.She was very hungry at first,she has gained a few lbs.since.😊 We are going to keep looking for her true home,not here.She is precious but I have 4 already and plan on keeping a big male from Liberty.I will foster her until we find her a kid.

I have 3 dogs, otherwise I’d have offered to take her. We took Maximus in earlier this year, and he’s turning into a pretty good dog. Still a lot of puppy in him though.

If we weren’t so far apart, I’d offer to take her for my mom. Her Boo doesn’t have much longer I think. The only kid would be my daughter and her boyfriend though, home from college for the summer.
