Hello there, I thought I’d pop in and introduce myself to everyone since I plan on hanging around quite a bit!
I first discovered Windstone Editions when I was in middle school, many, many years ago and many a night where spent in front of my computer coveting scaled beasts and small hatchlings, knowing “I’d never afford that with my allowance…” and in time Windstone faded from my mind. Fast forward over a decade and I have rediscovered them, and boy are they just as beautiful as ever. I’m awestruck, just as I was all those years ago! And I’ve decided to heck with it! I’m going to collect!
And I must say I now am the proud caretaker of a Peacock mother 85′, which will hopefully arrive to me unscathed though she does already have 2 very small chips. I purchased her in an ebay auction for a steal (if you ask me) and I hope to one day have a collection of several pieces but for now I’m starting small and enjoying the community!
I look forward to chatting and interacting with everyone here!

Hi and welcome. Where are you from? That is cool about how you found Windstones again and is actually similar to me and others’ I’ve read about that loved these when they were young and saw them in stores but maybe couldn’t afford them at the time and then as we grew up to be adults, rediscovered them on ebay or here and started collecting. I started with one fledgling dragon when I was a teenager and then also lost touch with Windstone for over a decade and then found them again online and started collecting a few years ago and now I have a bug collection of them! Isn’t it awesome to find a community of people who all love the same thing as you? What other pieces do you like that you would love to own? I do have a brown male dragon I will be selling that had a chip in his eyelid and I started to fix it by filling it but didn’t have time to finish so may sell it as is.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

I’m from the Missouri in the US, and yeah as a kid I always coveted them and drooled at them when I saw them online (we never really had a store that sells windstone products until I was an adult, but now we have one!)
And it is! I have never really gotten into the “collectors forum” type scene and really I am loving the forums so far! Everyone seems so nice, and honestly it’s so refreshing to see so many nice people with a common interest!
I do have a Windstone Frog Wizard as well, that I recently received from an ebay auction! I saw him and was instantly reminded of my grandmother who happened to love both while she was still with us So I got it in her memory and I’ll probably never turn loose of him xD And I got into a bidding war over the Festival Coil test paint, but alas it slipped through my fingers (Darnit!)
I recently bought a brown male recently from Bodine! BUT Depending on the price of your brown male I’d definately be interested if you want to shoot me a message! I really like the browns, the turqoise color is a really nice accent color on them!
