There’s a new listing on eBay that stole a photo from my listing. I reported the auction, but the reasons I am allowed to choose from a drop-down menu don’t fit very well. Is there any other way I can report the item? Will eBay contact me for a follow up? The form response didn’t really say anything like that.
The terms they listed in the item description are super shady too, though again, none of the reasons for reporting the item really fit what they are trying to do.

May 12, 2018 at 1:08 am #1538925This has happened to me before too and I messaged the person and asked them to please not use my photos as that was against ebay’s policies and warned they would be reported and they took them down. I think I did report them too but I can’t remember what I reported them for. You could always call or write ebay to clear anything up if reporting them doesn’t resolve it.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

May 12, 2018 at 8:09 am #1538944There’s a link somewhere on their listing to report their item. I can’t remember the choices, but pick the closest and you can provide a short description.
May 12, 2018 at 8:30 am #1538945I found them and reported them through the link on their page. And their listing description is weird and seems shady asking for money after the fact. Anyway…
Here’s the link you need as the seller to report stolen pics:

You have to go through three selections to get to the appropriate one. In your case, you would select “Copyright and trademark” from the first drop-down, then “eBay item infringes your intellectual property rights” from the second. In this case, there is only one selection in the third drop-down, and it looks like it ends up at the link Tig3er06 posted above.

For other reporting categories, they specifically say they won’t contact you. But since this goes somewhere else, I don’t know.
I report people who mention Windstone for non-Windstone items. That is “listing practices”, “search and browse manipulation”, and “keyword spamming”. If you want to do that, be sure that the item is not a different Windstone – there is a Windstone Press, so books are usually legitimate. Also people misspell Norma Winstone a lot, and there are on rare occasions memorabilia from Windstone Golf Club, plus one-offs like a particular Marvel Mixup comic, a book of nature photography by David Muench (which I highly recommend if you like nature photography – I was buying his photo books before I ever heard of Windstone Editions.)My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.
