Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.November 19, 2017 at 1:59 am #1532028It’s been cold and snowy here for a while now but my friend likes the snow for Christmas. Is anyone going shopping for Black Friday? We have some sales in Canada, not as good as the US but I may need to get another laptop as mine is a few years old and having issues.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
November 19, 2017 at 5:13 am #1532030Not me.That is totally insane.Freezing cold, waiting outside on the sidewalk to spend money. Not for me.Stores have finally caught on here that they can make lots more money by offering “Black Friday” sale prices 2 weeks early.

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.November 19, 2017 at 6:10 am #1532035Not me, I tend to shop all year for Christmas. If I see something that I know someone will want I buy it on sale it during the year so that I am not stressed over what to get for who during the crazy shopping season. Its usually a better sale price during the year than during the holidays anyhow. And that gives me time to be certain I got the correct item and to exchange it if I accidentally got or ordered the wrong item.
Sure wishing it would finally snow here in Western Colorado though!
Wishing everyone a fun and stress free Holiday Season!

"COSMIC SHIFT DRAGONS and KI-RINS" and the "OCTOPUS TANUKI TEST PAINT #1"November 19, 2017 at 6:12 am #1532036We had our first snow yesterday after monsoon rains and a huge temperature drop, but being the first snow, it immediately dissipated when it hit the warm ground. We’ve had a mild fall thus far and I’m definitely not looking forward to frigid cold.
All of my Black Friday shopping will be done online. I hate crowds and long lines in stores. So much easier online
Hope that everyone has a safe & wonderful Thanksgiving!
November 19, 2017 at 6:13 am #1532037StormDancer, Didn’t you get a huge snowfall yesterday? I saw pics on TV news of a few feet, but it didn’t say which part of Colorado (maybe the mountain ski areas?)
November 19, 2017 at 6:58 am #1532041Hi Mary!
I’m about 65 miles from the Utah border so think more along the lines of high mountain desert. Most folks think it looks like Arizona or New Mexico here. The surrounding mountains here got a light dusting of snow 2 nights ago but that’s already all gone from what I can see. Here in the Delta area we got about 15 minutes of a light rain but no snow. The moisture from rain is already dried up so its back to dusty conditions today. Most of the fall, its still been 75 degrees here during the day and only dropping to about 50 at night. Its only been the last 2 nights that it has gotten cold enough to put a very thin layer of ice on the water tanks.
The mid-state mountain areas are getting snow as is the eastern slope. I just wish they would share with the western slope!

"COSMIC SHIFT DRAGONS and KI-RINS" and the "OCTOPUS TANUKI TEST PAINT #1"November 19, 2017 at 8:42 am #1532051This is our first winter season in Texas, after spending nearly the past 20 years in Colorado. (Storm, I lived in a suburb of Denver <3!) I was ready to leave Colorado, but I can say without a doubt that I’m missing the snow and the chilly weather. It’s 59 and mostly sunny here, a far cry from the 37 and partly cloudy in good ‘ol Westminster!
I am looking forward to Black Friday shopping! I wish I could say that I had the foresight to shop all year, but I don’t ): So I scramble all through the month of November and December, trying to find the perfect gifts xD
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday!
