Is Anybody Here Good With Leather/Cosplay Armor Building?

Is anyone here good at making cosplay accessories?

I’m in need of leather armor bracers and gauntlets for my Alopex costume and I have no time to make them. (I need them for September) I’ve been looking on other forums, but so far nobody has been able to provide me with half way decent examples of any work and as I’m not familiar with them I’m not so apt to hand over money to strangers for unknown results.

What I’m looking for is fairly simple. A firm, yet bendable rectangular black leather armor with adjustable straps. I’d like them to be padded, so they would need to be boxy and filled with foam of some sort more than likely. I can give the required lengths, depths, and widths for the pieces and straps with detailed homemade “blue prints”

I would prefer buckles and grommets for the straps, or even buttons maybe, but they can be Velcro if that is the only way, that was the route I went for my previous set and it came apart which is why I was hoping to avoid it.

The set would need the two hand sections (which look to me like 4 actual individual pieces) as well as the set for the feet so 6 finished bits in total. (I’m not going to do the metal because I’m afraid one wrong move and I could tear the suit, HOWEVER if someone is good with metal and confident they could mill it to it wouldn’t be sharp I’d also like an additional set with the metal overlay if possible. (If not now, perhaps for the future if they can’t be made in time)

Anybody with any ideas or interest hit me up with examples of your work and pricing.
