Should our profiles/account information still be contained within the new site. When I click “My account” after logging in, I get Error 404: Page not found.

Tara – Yes, your account information should be there. I don’t know what is going wrong with your account. I’ll consult our webmaster on Monday.
Lupuslunae – The forum is running on a different platform (it used to be Drupal, now its WordPress) so it is going to look and work a little different. Our Webmaster is going to make it as much like before as possible but I don’t know how much alike it can be made. He has only just begun that job.
When the dust settles, it would be nice to see which threads have new posts. At the moment we don’t have that information (as far as I can tell, anyway).
The biggest issue I’ve seen is html disappearing from classified ads and not being allowed in new ads. I hope that is going to change when the site is finished as it is much easier than individually loading images.
The new posts would be nice to see but I know you are already aware of that issue and that will change.
Forums/messages/classified are very hard to view on iPhone – it cuts off most of the screen in messages & classified. I’m sure that optimization for phones takes awhile.
Even with all those issues it’s great to have the site back!

Finding happiness again.
I’m very confused with the classifieds. Some of my ads expired during the closure. I was able to find and update them, but they are currently “disabled” pending “approval”. I got an automated email stating that two of the ads had been updated, but they still show on my account as disabled.
Also, I understand that it will eventually come about that people and contact me via PM to answer the ads, but in the meantime, I’m not happy at all that they can contact me via email. 🙁
As someone else mentioned, the new format of the forum is confusing, too. I hope we see a return to being able to see which threads have been updated.
I know that this has been a huge undertaking for everyone and I’m looking forward to a smoother functioning forum and classifieds.

Hi Guys, This looks like it is going to be a bit rough for a while, but it should be functional. If you can stand the way it looks, just use the forum and site as much as you can and report anything to us that is out of wack. Best to just email me: john@windstoneeditions.com or susie@windstoneeditions.com so we don’t miss it in the threads.
As there are some structural issues to deal with, Clay will probably be a bit overwhelmed for the next week or more, but he will eventually get to the design and layout, and try to improve the visuals. That said, we are now running in WordPress instead of Drupal, so I doubt that we will get the exact look of the site back.
So first let us know what doesn’t work so we can deal with the important stuff, and then what you like and don’t like about it. Just noticed that there is no preview before posting anymore.
…maybe we should start a thread that begins with “What’s with the”… Except I’m not sure how one sees a brand new thread right away!
I have observed that in My Account (which thankfully I can see, I apologize to those of you who are getting error pages instead) there is a list of those who have responded to this thread that I began. This will help me see your replies (I am not really in the habit of reading the forum). Keep telling us what’s wrong!
How do you reset the date your ad expires now ?? I went into edit but doesnt let me reset it let alone keep current end date.
And i just noticed my sale ad is missing ALOT of my info i put in it 🙁
I guess i will start over tomarrow too late tonight to worry about it. This is gonna take some getting used to .
