Baby Ki-Rin – Asagi Koi Test Paint #9

This is our Baby Kirin, test-painted by Melody Pena in a color scheme inspired by asagi koi (a type of fish).

This little Kirin foal’s base color is metallic pearl. His fur and scales are hand-painted with bright red koi-like spots, and the scales on his back have been airbrushed and hand-painted in the centers with black and metallic silver. Some of the spots on his furry areas are hand-painted in the centers with metallic blue, and a few of his red-colored scales are marked with additional metallic gold spots. He has dark brown glass eyes, a 24k gold-plated pewter horn, and a glossy finish.

Melody has signed this Kirin on his grey felt pad and marked him with the name “Asagi Koi TP #9”. This Kirin also comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and a small sketch by Melody.
