Yes, pics please of everyone’s gifts! I love seeing the creativity and thoughtfulness of everyone 😊
Mine will be going out later today or tomorrow 😊
I’m also waiting on something to arrive so I can ship the whole gift. So I’ll be shipping soon, hopefully.

Better with orange eyes. 😉
I agree, I liked the before blue spots and eyes better.
From reading online, maybe by reporting him and ebay agreeing, he may have had to pay the original sale fees now. Where by selecting you requested to cancel, it got him out of those fees. Horrible seller. I see it sold for a best offer now.
Yay!!! Can’t wait to find the perfect gifts for whoever I get 😁💚
If it were me, I’d email Susie and see if they have an ETA on any of the pyo dragons. I know Melody has been sculpting a new pyo rock dragon that might come out in a couple months. There’s also just a few employees working because of covid I think, but Susie would be the best to probably answer your questions 😊
Congrats etruscan! Hoping he arrives safely!

Mason, this thread is for the current auctions being done by the company, not just items showing up on Ebay…just current auctions of the windstoneeditions account….
I’ve already tried pming him/her before this post so I don’t feel he/she cares. I also explained how it could be posted in the classifieds for sale.
One of my fav little shops in Spokane, WA.
Wow! Poad and pyo uni are both super cool!
I’m in!
I don’t disagree with fatal about the “what will I get” appeal of grab bags, but just throwing this into the discussion … There are people who refuse to participate in the grab bags because they don’t want to spend that much money for a piece they might not like.
Trading gets expensive and can be frustrating so they simply stay out. Is there any way to bring them (and their money) in?
Yes: more limited edition colors, on a regular basis, with the same frequency of grab bags!
Instead of 100-200 one of a kind pieces in a grab bag, make 10-20 schemes in a theme only (for example, 15 “winter” foxes, or a dozen “floral” fledglings), and say X amount will be made of each of them.
Set it up like the below page, and say people can only buy one, or one of each, or whatever other restriction, if any.
https://windstoneeditions.com/product-category/individual-cougars/This doesn’t have to replace grab bags, as some people like to be doom and gloom and say things should only be sold one way or another. It is a way to allow people to get new items and know what it will be. If people don’t like not having an OOAK, don’t buy it.
I do wish more limited production was made for everyone. It’s always fun to see new paints and sculpts so I hope that might happen. We always get consistent grab bags, which I love, but taking a break to do something different would be nice for people who don’t love grab bags. Ive saw lots of squeaks for new colors of unis, pegs, and kirins so I feel that would definitely be a crowd pleaser.
I don’t think your idea is bad at all Bodine as far as the Grab Bags are concerned. Quietly putting them in the store, like when a new color LP scheme is launched, might be a good idea. That may lessen the aggravation and stress some experience waiting for the dreaded GB Drop, and the ensuing website/cart crashes. And – I may get yelled at for this – if this suggestion is tried it might also be good to reinstitute a ‘one per customer’ rule at the beginning – to include all batches for a GB sculpt – unless Melody has 100+ painted of each batch/scheme perhaps. This would mean that a person would only be able to get one per for the total GB, no matter which batch option a person selected, And then don’t lift the limits for five or six days to give people time to be able to get one (get funds/paychecks cashed, etc.) who couldn’t get in on the first buying wave.
I think this has been suggested a few times now and Windstone keeps deciding how they feel each grab bag should be allowed per batch. The gb oris were pick 1 of 1 batch at first I think and they still sold out super fast. Unfortunately, nothing is going to stop the people who keep using multiple accounts to continually purchase over the limits they are allowed. And I’m not talking about gifts or blind trades.
October 26, 2020 at 2:21 pm in reply to: Authenticated Windstone Employee/Relative Gift, Test & Prototype Paints #1630540Wow, I love that odd green Mother! Melody, how about doing something similar for the next green LP/Production color???? Metallic gold or tan eyes, a different gem, and little gold dots along with the blue and green, should surely be enough to make it different enough from the ‘inspiration’ dragon…
I agree it’s very pretty! I had to slap my hand and tell myself “no you don’t need to buy it, you always sell most of the dragons you keep buying” 🤣
