Did the rest of the people get one that wanted one?
DM, Cheryl, Spark are the ones who I remember. Who else collects fledges? Was it Keplilly???
I PM’d Keplilly about them. I don’t know if she collected fledglings, but I know she mentions she was the first to contact Melody about them so I thought I’d let her know. I hope she gets one if she wanted one.

I hope they don’t put the griffin chicks up without advance warning 🙁 I’d really like to nab one of those 🙂
Ah, so many of the people originally interested in the green fledgling aren’t even on 🙁

I’m just wondering about something I think I see in some of the Dragons. To me it seems that the pose struck by Male Dragons are based on Feline behavior, but the Mother Dragon seems K-9.
Is this correct? ( just wondering). 🙄Wow! Yes! The male dragon is based on a cat pose, and the female is in exactly the same pose the family dog would always take when it was about time for his walk.It was his waiting pose. He would sigh really loud, so you would notice, then lay down next to the front door with his head across one paw…and his eyes would follow you intently, just like the female dragon’s. I am amazed you picked up on that!
LOL, wow, I’m so glad to hear that story about the mother dragon’s pose. She is my favorite sculpt because she alway reminded me of how my dog, Scarlet, would lay down in that position, and look up at me when she was waiting for something; observing my actions to see what I was about to do.
I actually place my mother dragon on a lower shelf so I’m looking down and her pubils look up and follow me just like Scarlet did 😀January 10, 2007 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Hello SiriuslyNsane, Art Slinger, Purpledoggy and AsH! #526059Welcome 🙂
Greater Basilisk wrote:Those emerald mothers are suddenly really popular! It’s strange, because I remember the peacock ones always go for about $120 and a emerald went for something like $60, $70, $80 – not very much. I watched it because I wanted to know how much mine was worth, but now I’ve forgotten the price. 😳
I like the sculpt, the color doesn’t matter though. I’m sure I couldn’t be a contender for one on Ebay though, since my disposable income is small, but I wonder if Melody might make a batch as a limited production in a color it wasn’t released in like black/gold. Although, I’m sure she has enough on her plate without me bugging her.
That dragon is really cute enchantments 🙂 I really like his long tail.

I think I can totally agree with that
I third that. Maybe one more extra minute of dragons would have been enough to see the listing on my screen 🙂

Cool, I think we have Drag0n and tfsculptures in this region too 🙂

That was me.
Good thing I’m not a gambling person or I would have lost 😀 Hopefully your question will let the artist know people are interested, but hints to her to list it lower since it didn’t sell. I think it is pretty, but that’s a pretty steep price to start with. She must be pretty confident in her work.

Congrats Drag0n.

Very true 😀 Wonder if that will be the new pattern, 3 minute auctions. I guess only time will tell 🙂
dragonessjade wrote:Come on…Lets re-break the record. hehe
Well, since we didn’t break that record, maybe we made the record for the fastest selling Windstone batch? I wonder if someone at Windstone was observing that auction. It must be amusing.
Arlla wrote:It’s still okay to put your name in the hat! 🙂 Truth be told I’m probably more annoyed that I didn’t have a real chance than I am about not getting one…if that makes sense…
Makes perfect sense.
I’ll let you two (or whoever else speaks up) have a better chance for getting one. I’m an impulse buyer sometimes 😳 so I’ll take this as an opportunity to save some money for the next thing that pops up from Windstone (please be Griffin chicks). Thank you though 🙂 -
