Love #4, the silver is so striking.
Tons of stuffed animals until my doctor told my parents that they were causing my asthma. Boxes and boxes of Lego…tons of books.
She’s adorable.
Love the blue…so purty 🙂
What a b**tard. My mother ran a retail store for over 15 years and she would never have done that, or allowed any of her employees (me included) to do something like that to a customer. If people wanted to put things on lay-a-way, there was a minimum amount (10% of total, which was clearly stated as being non-refundable) but once it was done, she never would have sold it out from under them. If they didn’t pay within 6 monthes, she would have given them a call to tell them that they had one more month before re-stocking the item.
If they’d wanted more down, the manager should have called you right away. And should have notified you if there was another buyer that was interested to give you first option to complete your purchase. That he treated you that way was totally unethical. You might want to report him to the Better Business Bureau.
Lovely. I need to finish my Peacock collection before I even start to collect the other colours. But I must say that the black/gold is gorgeous. Congrats.

I saw Stardust recently. Loved it, but then one of my favorite authors is Neil Gaiman (who’s book the film is based off of). All the critics are comparing it to the Princess Bride which is really wrong. Stardust is a fantasy film for adults. There are comedic moments but that isn’t the basis for the story. The Princess Bride (which is another of my favorite movies) is a parody of all fantasy stories. They aren’t the same at all. But if you love fantasy movies, Stardust is a sure bet.

Plus they got a huge alligator pen and bunny rabbit pen outside… which is kinda weird. But it’s something to watch while you’re waiting for a table. This is the original crab shack that inspired Joe’s Crab shack.)
Now, do the bunnies occasionally disappear?? And the alligators keep getting fatter??

They closed all of the Olive Gardens in Ontario a couple of years ago. Sucks!! I used to love going there. Me and my honey used to go just about every two weeks.

I find that the Red Lobsters in Toronto always overcook the fish. But I do love their cheddar biscuits.
