This does make me feel better! Mine will be over 100 mi but it is FL – you just seem to live in your car in this state. I drive about 180 mi round trip once a week for my horseback riding lessons!

The OW’s take up so much space! I was pretty shocked at how big the sculpt was when I received my first one, a Red Fire OW.
I know right! 😀 That’s one of the reasons why I love OWs, that and their stoic look. I have a Blue Morpho OW and RF OW. The RF OW was my first OW too! I’m hoping my next OW will be a BVP.
I just bought a BVP OW from someone on eBay a couple of days ago and I’m driving to her house to pick him up tomorrow!

I have more dragons than anything else (haven’t counted recently…) which means I probably need to buy a bigger house soon so they have more space lol. I also have a pretty large population of Flap Cats and unicorns and I’ve just started adding some griffins in to the mix. Also have some of the candle lamps (the Spooky Grimalkin is my favorite followed by the cat Wizard). Have a few wizards too – I LOVE cat wizards 🙂
I actually much prefer last minute bidders – it saves everyone money because people aren’t going back and forth one upping each other in a pissing contest . Bottom line – bid as high as you’re willing to pay – if the other person gets it, they get it. If you would have paid more, no one is stopping you from bidding more. I don’t agree with calling someone “sneaky” because they were willing to pay more than another bidder.
This is how I feel, too; last-minute bids just seem more efficient to me! After all, there’s nothing stopping eighteen different people from putting in a last-minute bid; Ebay will sort out whose bid is highest, saving everybody from having to inch the price up bit by bit and maybe get caught up and swept into bidding more than they’d planned. It also means you don’t have to check on your bid every single day and keep re-bidding (or bite your nails hoping somebody hasn’t pushed it up past your maximum amount and now you have to watch the auction go on for days while knowing you can’t have it).
*shrug* I don’t do well with tension, I guess! I just want to make my max offer and find out immediately if I’m going to get a dragon or not, so I don’t have to suffer. 🙂 (I ended up not even bidding on the Lap Dragon I wanted on Ebay last week, because I waited till the last minute and by the time I was ready to put in a bid, it’d gone higher than I could go. So I was disappointed I didn’t get it, but I didn’t have to angst over it for four days, at least!)

I love blue eyes too plus they look good with most color schemes. I also really like the teal eyes – that’s part of why I love the copper patina color. I think there should be more silver/grey eyes especially on blue dragons like that one that was the September raffle prize. Red eyes are my least favorite. I’d love to see purple eyes!! There was a repaint on ebay with purple eyes that was really lovely.
This is a REALLY beautiful color! I hope it becomes at least limited production one day. That rising and sitting spectral-oh-be still my heart! *clutches chest and sways*

This makes me super happy to know I may eventually get some Fire Berry dragons!
I graduate in the spring. I would be more then happy tomove out there and become a professional boxer/shipper to take the pains and stress off you guys. Plus I am a massage therapist although it has been on the back burner to get my degree. Just putting it out there 😛
I wonder if that position would come with discounts and maybe a free Windstone every now and then as a bonus???
Very nice! Best of luck on the original Black Grand Unicorn. I think the total population is about 10 (originally 12 and at least two destroyed), but you never know. 🙂

Snow White unicorn family completed today! Still need the grand unicorns for both the old black and old white families and 4 more to complete the jet black family.
