Thanks guys! I know I was lucky to get this pretty guy, hes quite the looker – if I wasn’t so in love with the dapples, I think I’d probably be happy to keep him XD

Thats exactly what I thought! The lichen stencil on a natural uni looks really interesting – the colors seem to accentuate the design more, I think!

He’s got metallic light blue eyes, a blue gem, and .. is that the lichen stencil I see? VERY cool looking uni, but not quite what I was hoping for, so he will be for trade! I am looking for a dapple uni, hopefully in grey or sand colors (like this unis colors, actually!), so if you’d like to offer a trade, please send me a PM!

Just out of curiosity, why didn’t this work out? Are they too small/detailed to take that type of finish?
I’m not sure how big of a pain the grab bag pebble wolves were for you to do, but they were certainly a hit – do you think you’ll ever be doing something like this with any of the pebble creatures again?

I don’t THINK the situation has changed with the horns yet because I think Windstone would throw a party about it XD but, we can hope!
Maybe if there’s enough interest in Grab Bag Youngs with pewter horns..?

He looks very similar to the Winterberry I already have, but there are subtle differences (the eye color, leaf shape, placement of colors, etc) that make him a great addition to my little uni family 🙂

When a Windstone doesn’t have a tag, it feels more “used” to me, than if it has a tag. When they have a tag, they appear more “mint” and new, and that’s why anything that has a tag is keeping one.
I like the tags, and I’m sticking to that! I think it sucks that the tags are going away ><

Yike, my cell phone camera really distorts things! He is all squashed looking.
Thats just because you have to hold a cell phone very close to things to get them to fill the frame – on a normal camera, standing back and zooming in causes the proportions to be correct, but I don’t know if any cell phone cameras have zoom yet! (I have a stupid phone XD)
