Thanks all, both for the advice and the compliments on my little boy. I’ve been taking the herbal supplements and pumping and everything. still not much milk, but a little bit more than before. I’m starting to become a little resigned to the fact that I may end up supplementing him with formula for good, but as long as he’s doing better, I’m okay with that. And then his daddy can feed him too. Now if I can just convince him that nighttime does not mean stay awake to eat and play for three hours!

It was my pediatrician that told me to supplment, since he’d lost 1lb in just a few days, and he had jaundice.
It’s been a week, and my milk is still not in, just colostrum. 🙁 I’ve had Tristen breastfeed on both sides at least 10-15 minutes, and then we supplment with the formula. He’s just seems very lazy about a sucking, but since he’s not getting that much, I guess I can’t blame him.
The lactician consultant I talked to has me starting an herb called fenugreek to try to get my milk to come in. So here’s hoping it comes in soon.Here’s some pics. And thanks for the congratulations, all!

Hello all!
Just wanted to announce that my son, Tristen Chance was born on June 26th at 7:41pm. He was 8lbs 14 ounces, and almost 22 inches long! This is the first time since then that I’ve felt awake and enough energy to be bothered with the computer. He’s such a pretty baby, and already rolling up onto his side from his back, and starting to hols his head up!
Only problem is that milk hasn’t come in yet, and he lost a lot of his birth weight, so we’re having to suplement him with formula, which I’m not too happy about. Any ideas fellow mommies?Keeper of the Fledgings
Congratulations! I’m still pregnant too, but have been having some mild contractions since yesterday, so I’m hoping that my little boy will decide to come on out soon! He’ll be my first.

Thanks for the advice Kyrin, and twinsdragonsmum. I didn’t take a whole lot of baby classes or anything, cause most of them were expensive, and I work too much, and I figured women hav edone this forever, so what did I need a class to tell me how to do it. But now I feel totally unprepared. But I guess you’re never really prepared? Anyhow, I think I’m just about done nesting, besides obsessing over keeping the place super clean, just in case he come sooner rather than later. Well, I’ll let you know when he (Tristen O’Connor) does make his appearance. 😀

So only three more weeks until my little boy is due…I think these are the longest three weeks of the whole pregnancy. My feet look like I have elephantitus, my hands keep going numb from the Carpal Tunnel, I waddle when I walk, and I feel huge! He’s dropped a little so I can sort of breathe again. But that aside, I’ve had a really good pregnancy. Stil, I kind of want him to come a little early, just because I swear, I more miserable now, than any other part of the past 8 months, but know how stubborn this little boy is already, I’m betting he waits it out until his due date. I’m just a bit intimidated by the whole labor and delivery thing, and poor hubby is getting over shoulder surgery, so her can’t help me nearl as much as he usually does. Sigh…just wanted to get that out a bit, since I know there a lot of fellow mommies here who’ve done it all before.

Thank you for all the compliments! 😳 My good friend Andrea actually created the pattern and everything because I wanted a small stuffed dragan, and when some people comented on them, she began to make more, and then we started to customize them, and now well…
