I heard that in the original Cinderella the step sisters chopped off part of their feet to try and fit in the glass slipper

Grimm’s fairytales were awesome! Not like Disney at all!
Anyone see the play “Into the Woods”? It’s about a bunch of fairtale characters that all live near the same woods. Jack climbed the beanstock and ended up killing the giant, but the giant’s wife is pissed now and wants revenge. Meanwhile Rapunzzle has gone a bit batty due to being locked up in the tower by her witch who turns out to be her mother. This is the same witch that cursed the Baker and his Wife. Little Red Riding Hood is a bit physcotic.
    It’s a really great story!

whats so psycotic about gutting a wolf and finding a little girls corpse in it 😀

I am glad your lung function is still pretty good. Is it likely to get better over time?

Congratulations on the great news! Please quote Ted, he was my favorite of the two! 😆

Bill: Okay, Ted, George Washington. One: the father of our country.

Ted: Two: born on President’s Day.

Bill: Three: the dollar bill guy.

Ted: Bill, you ever made a mushroom out of his head? It’s like, just like…

    Bill: Ted. Alaska.

Ted: Okay. Um… Had wooden teeth, chased Moby Dick.

    Bill: That’s Captain Ahab, dude.

Have any of you recieved that email of DON’T TEXT AND DRIVE? Its pictures of some pour soul that was messin around with his cell phone and ended up under the front end of a semi… he was in a little car…

ICKY graphic pictures of the fire rescue pulling the truck off and the dude out…

IF YOU HAVEN’T recieved an email like that yet, fair warning, it is graphic… the first picture is of the car under the front end of the semi day cab (which means it has NO sleeper cabin on the back of the cab of the truck). IF you cannot handle graphic pictures I would not go past the first picture… I did and it isn’t pretty. I have recieved this email twice and I refuse to pass it on since the pictures are graphic. The first picture is enough to make a point. The rest are WOW… graphic!

This is just a fair warning if anyone gets that email…

I know I didn’t want to see the rest of the pictures.

i saw a thing on 48 hours how they are cracking down on people posting pictures like that on the net . There are some cops and Fire dept people who will be in for a rude awakening if it goes through . from what they said it can result in jail time because of the harrasment the families have to go through with net nerds finding the home numbers emails and phone #’s of the victims families causing them undo stress and anguish.

I personally hope it goes through i dont think its apporpreate to take pictures at sites like that unless its for the police to do an investigation and it ends there. there are even fire fighters who put cameras on thier helmets to record stuff in the homes of fire victims while the fire is active, i would be ok with it if it were for training but its not , its for thier sick ammusment

im sure they are worth some money they are all in really good condition , no torn pages or any missing . Im going to put them away to give to Alyssa when she is old enough to appreciate them . They all came from my Great Grandfather so i want to keep them in the family

My mom had a yard sale last saturday so i brought some junk over to sell. Well it didnt go so well the traffic was slow and it doesnt help that she lives on a side road .

I got bored and started sifting through some old books she was selling for a qurater , and found what yard sale junkies wish for hidden treasure

I found a second printing of Peter Pan that my great grandfather had . All the pages are there and what i found inside was awsome . I found a full page obituary of the writer of Peter Pan Sir J.M Barrie in the New York Herold Tribune from June 30, 1937

I then found a first printing of Bambi before Disney got its nasty little hands on the property dated 1929

Digging a bit more i found a 3rd eddition Winnie the Pooh from 1958

Of all of that stuff i would say the Obit as tattered and torn up as it is (i taped what i could back together) has to be my favorite find ..its not somthing you come across every day . Seeing its condition i am going to frame it and get an extra for my Charles Schultz obit from a few years back so it doesnt crumble away

With your FEV1 at under 80%, do you need a bronchodilator if you’re going to exercise?

i dont need a diolater because i have no swelling or constriction . The score is about average for a lung TX paitient my docs say, some CFers get 120% but they are in the minority . It may be from the lungs were dead for so long , i got the call at midnight and didnt hit the OR till 9am that morning . They do encourage me to get out of breath since you breath with the deeper parts of the lung ..my exercise right now is running up and down the satirs to tend to the baby . When she gets a touch older im going to dust off the bike and ride with her in a side car thingy

But heck ill take 62.5% over 14% any day 🙂

in reply to: I'M NORMAL , or so they say #722961

went to the docs today for my monthly check up and my FEV (Forced Expiratory Volume) is in the normal range 80% . So now they say the amount of O2 i intake is normal , while my FEV1 the amount of air i push out from the smaller airway like the avoli are 62.5% thats in the good catigory … So i guess im half normal , knowing that please dont expect me to recite Shakespeare , or Aristotle because im only half normal instead i may quote Bill & Ted or possibly Cheech and Chong
