I just found this little piece of “yard Art” (IMO most things left on the yard look like trash and not art especially gnomes) It is marketed as a detractor to all those 1 1/2 foot tall PIA Gnomes . I dont know why i hate gnomes so much , maybe its because of the old cartoon David the Gnome . when i would hear Tom Bosley’s voice i was ready for Richie and Fonzie to roll in , and they never did just some darned raccoon with a busted up leg .Maybe if you have a Gnome problem you may want to buy one or two 😛

No more fun to be had in schools . I think people need to keep thier personal life personal and let the kids have some fun . Halloween is actually a Christian holiday. Originally called All Hallows Eve. I forget what it’s for but my church celebrated it on occasion.

sorry dude its not Christian it Pagan . November 1st is all saints day or All-hallows

    History Channel
By the 800s, the influence of Christianity had spread into Celtic lands. In the seventh century, Pope Boniface IV designated November 1 All Saints’ Day, a time to honor saints and martyrs. It is widely believed today that the pope was attempting to replace the Celtic festival of the dead with a related, but church-sanctioned holiday. The celebration was also called All-hallows or All-hallowmas (from Middle English Alholowmesse meaning All Saints’ Day) and the night before it, the night of Samhain, began to be called All-hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween. Even later, in A.D. 1000, the church would make November 2 All Souls’ Day, a day to honor the dead. It was celebrated similarly to Samhain, with big bonfires, parades, and dressing up in costumes as saints, angels, and devils. Together, the three celebrations, the eve of All Saints’, All Saints’, and All Souls’, were called Hallowmas.

i had trouble years ago with the UPS man throwing my meds in the yard with out knocking on the door . They stayed out all day and into the next and were ruined ..3,000 bucks worth that my insurance paid. The compnay i got my drugs from was small and i believe they cancelled thier UPS account because of the many complaints like mine because Fed Ex delivered from that day on

Sorry, I disagree with that. Imagine if you are a 7 or 8 year old kid with food allergies and EVERY time someone in your class has a birthday you have to sit and watch everyone else chowing down on cake or cupcakes and you can’t eat any of it. How fun is that for that child? And although I agree the children need to know about their condition to make a 7 year old responsible for a potentially FATAL condition could well end in tragedy. Sure, the teacher could help but a lot of schools are over crowded and trying to keep an eye on 16 7 year olds every second is impossible. It’s much safer just to ban the food. Besides, if I was a teacher I wouldn’t want to deal with sugared up kids anyway! 😉

ive been in that boat many times through out my school career not being able to perticipate in certain partys or events in school because of health reasons , but it would be selfish of me to turn it into a problem and have the other kids lose out on thier fun. I dont feel its fair for every one to miss out because of one person or a small minority , to this day i still am unable to attend certain events that i would love to because of the environment or eat and drink different things but i cant imagine trying to accomidate myself at the cost of others enjoyment.

I think the increased prevalence to allergies is partly due to our increase in communications/awareness. With the internet, there is so much more info instantly at your fingertips.
Are there more cases of pedophilia now than when some of us were kids? It’s like every day you hear/read something about pedophiles. I can remember my mother telling us as kids, don’t talk to strangers, don’t take rides from strangers, etc., but I don’t EVER remember not being able to bring cookies or cupcakes to school for someone’s birthday or some other event.
