If I had chickens I’d totally get/make them a floaty toy of some sort, that’s a great idea! I guess their feathers aren’t made waterproof like duck feathers. 🙂

Haha, that’s cool and cute. I had chickens for a while growing up and never did I think to take them swimming.

Ha ha ha! Chickens like to swim! I used to take my chicken swimming with me. They paddle almost as well as ducks! -only problem is they aren’t waterproof enough to do it for very long, so you need to stay right with them, and take them out of the water after a couple of minutes.
I bet you could make water wings for them… or maybe a doughnut shaped float they could sit in…Or a waterproof suit they could wear…maybe bubble wrap with leg holes…
Or just get pet ducks.

I love this post. It shows your creativity, love of animals, and practicality all in one. 😉
