That is soooo considerate! I’m glad Tristen got some “feel better” treats! Give him a hug from us!

You are probably getting tired of hearing about Tristen by now but in answer to some of your questions – he is doing great and gets his stitches out on Sept 25th. He loved the treats I gave him 2 yesterday and 2 today and he garfed them down. I only give him 2 a day I don’t want to make him sick but Friday is his 12th birthday and I’ll probably give him a few more along with the chicken and asparagus which he loves.

Very cool. I don’t think I have done anything like that for someone before. Glad that he is feeling better. And we aren’t sick of hearing about Tristen.

              Early Happy Birthday Tristen!!! 😀

Stitches– does he have to wear one of those ridiculous (tho necessary at times), Elizabethan collars? Yanno, the ones that look like cones or lamp shades around their necks to keep them from licking and removing stitches?

              Happy early birthday poochie!

No fortunately he doesn’t have to wear one of those collars this time. Hr has been operated on twice for melanoma (fortunately the vet got it all each time) and he had to wear the collar both time and can’t seem to navigate with it. I had to take it off for him to eat or drink and also had to get him out of corners, doorways, etc. he got hung up in. He also almost tripped over it more than once.
