PayPal name change

So has anyone had to change their name on PayPal? I just looked into it and they wanted a crazy amount of information. Much more than when I opened the account.

That might be because of new banking regulations. I had problems paying someone in Canada a couple years(?) ago. It took a while to get to someone who knew why – new federal regulations that included not allowing transferring money from a bank account to an account with a PO box in the address. Apparently, many Canadians have both a street address AND a PO box number, and are supposed to use both. She had to remove the PO box from her address for me to pay her.

My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.

It was SUCH a pain in the butt when I changed my name, that I ended up just taking my bank/card off the old account and making a new one with my new email. Seriously, it was crazy.
