This is one of my lovely gifts this year that I wanted to share.Brandy and her family sent this to us.She thought of me on her extraordinary trip to the Maya.
It is hand painted on leather.Absolutely gorgeous.I have a keeper and this will be it’s inspiration.Jeff really likes his shot glasses.The paintings are going in frames.

I got to hang out with my little niece though which was cool, but she's teething so she was pretty unhappy most of the night. All in all… I can't wait to just go back to work and NOT have to listen to Xmas music all day. I think it is safe to say my Christmas was a total bust!

I also got some awesome Darth Vader pajama pants from my aunt.
I have no pictures, so you’ll just have to go with imagination (or visit heruniverse.com and find them…). Also got some art books and a new scanner since I haven’t had one for a couple of years now. Not a bad haul, really!
My son gave my a great pair of house shoes (which I really needed) and my daughter gave me footie pajamas!!! They look really comfy, but is it weird of me to wish they had a flap??? 😀

OMG totally not weird to wish for the bum flap!! I keep asking for a pair of those!! LOLOL Ya can just cut a flap out and put on some buttons…it works really well! HEHE 🙂
I got some decorations for next years tree, a heated blanket and mattress pad, but our big presents to each other are VIP passes to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo http://www.calgaryexpo.com/ ….Michael Shanks, Stan Lee and Weird Al here I come lol.
I hoped my family would have caught on to the never so subtle hints for Windstones for Christmas! ;p (I even had a list for them, lol!) but alas no Windstones for Christmas.. though my grandma gave me money to put into Windstones… going to try for a grab bag poad or uni with that!
But the guy I’ve been dating surprised the absolute hell out of me with these:

I had NO idea!! In fact, boots was the one thing I just *knew* it *wasn’t* XD haha… I was at Boot Barn a lil while back and found a pair of boots I liked, n made a comment about my expensive taste (over $200 boots) ‘n then specifically told him to not take my talking about them as a Christmas gift hint, cause they’re too expensive!! Defiant lil snot came back with “I didn’t buy those boots… these are different boots” XD – Sneaky lil snot found my Pinterest wish list.. ‘n though I have a ton of boots on there, he did fantastic picking which boots to buy, cause I was determined to buy either these or the ones I found at Boot Barn (The pair he “wasn’t allowed” to buy, lol!) before summer…From family I got the rest of the Avengers hero movies (I only had The Avengers and the first Iron Man, I was kind of sad about that, lol!) ‘n a couple other movies.. and a handful of Ford Mustang metal signs 😀 ‘n a couple this n that stuff…. OH! rofl!! and a “Studs and Spurs” calendar from my MOM! XD !!… that my brother originally misread as “Studs and Spuds” … and thus the horrible inside joke of the day was born! I couldn’t stop laughing.. seriously had tears in my eyes! lmao
I also can finally make coffee!! My dad hates.hates.hates the smell of coffee, so between that and the fact that we just don’t drink enough to justify a pot of coffee anyway… the coffee maker hasn’t been used in like 2 years, lol! … So I bought my mom one of the small Keruigs! 🙂
and I can’t help but giggle that I bought my brother and the guy I’m dating booze XD Expensive booze too! Over $100 invested in booze o.o Crystal Head vodka for my brother (both the big bottle and the shooter… cause I about died when I saw the shooter – Mind you, Crystal Head vodka’s bottle is a glass skull, the shooter is a lil skull!! lol) and Russian Standard Gold vodka for Greg (guy I’m dating) which I had to go to South Denver to find!! (I live almost on the Colorado/Wyo border, so south Denver is a trek!)Overall, pretty darn good Christmas!! 😀 And it was a White Christmas!! All season Colorado hasn’t hardly gotten ANY snow, but it snowed Christmas eve night!! with a few inches, so it hung around 😀
Haha! I got the gifts of light and music this round – a very USEFUL haul XD so not much useless stuff that I really wanted, but oh well. I think this year was the kind of year for useful stuff lol! I got a new wallet from my mom/Santa (I was hoping for earrings but I love the wallet too – it’s something I would hardly buy for myself even though I needed it so it’s better), a flashlight from my dad/Santa, a reading light and a copy of ‘Doctor Horrible and Other Horrible Stories’ (graphic novel) from my eldest brother, a 500g portable hard drive from my OTHER brother, an awesome colourful green desk light to replace my poor old purple one which fell apart from my mom and a nice new pair of headphones from my dad, which is something I’ve really been wanting for years since my last pair broke! (I love headphones best for listening to music.) All in all, excellent useful haul I think! XD I needed all of this stuff (well, minus the comic book but who doesn’t love a good comic book?) and now I have it, so yeee! 😀 I definitely appreciate all the light, because my room is pretty dim and I hate walking at night, so my rad new flashlight will be my friend there. (Creepy countryside is creepy. Pretty during the day, creepy at night!)

No gifts yet for us here, though we ordered ourselves some Poads! We are a split household, Pagan/Catholic, so we celebrate Yule in December and give our gifts on Epiphany- The day the Wise Men arrived and gifted baby Jesus his presents of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
I’ve got a fancy bottle of Absinthe on order for him as well as a bottle of his favourite rum (and maybe a second bottle of absinthe, a new brand he’s not tried), plus a fantastic statue of one of his fave Marvel characters. Unsure what he’s got planned for me, he spoiled me with some of my favourite perfumes and also got me a Scratching and a male White dragon earlier in the month, as well as letting me get TWO Sugar Plum Poads and a Black Violet peacock male for myself, so I said I would be fine without anything!
We helped some of our friends get some much wanted Christmas presents, however, and that’s worth more than gold. Glad we could bring a little joy to folks.

Amazing turkey dinner too and I finally got the recipe for KFC Gravy and it ROCKED!!!! I got spoiled this year, Clothes, 50 Shades of Grey Series of books, earrings, purse, the rotating coffee stand I totally wanted for my Keurig YEAH!! chocolates, Karaoke machine (i’m a dork) Angelina Wrona painting (LOVE HER) and my most favorite thing from my husband…..I got the new Swarovski Crystal Dragon Necklace and pendant http://www.swarovski.com/Web_CA/en/1124113/product/SCS_Pendant_Dragon.html
It is so gorgeous and too funny….5 days before christmas the Swarovski Catalogue came and I was looking through it and OMG I said to the hubby “they have a freaking crystal dragon pendant!!” He looks at me and say with a shrug “that must have just came out cuz I didn’t know about it!” NEVER Crossed my mind that i might get it for christmas!!! WHAT…sneeky sneeky hubby! Open the box….jumping up and down…..you got it for me!!!! HE is sooooo amazing and I am so lucky to have a man who “GETS” me and supports me even though he totally doesn’t understand the dragon obsession LOLOL I have an amazing family and wonderful kids and that is the greatest gift I have ever been given and keep receiving from everyday.
